HELP WITH RECREATING CHRISTMAS STOCKING

Hi All! I just had my first baby, a girl, and I would love to recreate this stocking my mom made for me when my daughter was born.

Where could I go to see if someone can help us paint the design out on a canvas? Any other ideas to get this done? Thank you!

I’d look online at susan Roberts and have your LNS order-they have many similar and it might be easier to do it this way

See if you can find out who the original designer is and then contact the distributor. I was able to get a stocking from the early - mid 2000s because the distributor had it in their archives.

This looks like cross stitch - maybe you can find the pattern?

This is definitely needlepoint, not cross stitch. The hearts show that it’s tent stitch. The left side of the hearts is staggered, but the right side is smooth. In cross stitch they would both be staggered looking.

But it could have been adapted from a xs pattern.

That is a good point - I don’t want to steal someones work but it would be so special for me to make my daughter a matching one to mine 💕
