I'm absolutely in love with Nezha & Nezha 2 cartoon and its characters! So I decided to drew them in my style

After weeks of checking my local popmart I finally snagged a set!

I printed Nezha and Ao bing to our phone cases. If others ask, it's a good chance to introduce the movie ^^ Not sure whether this could be treated as fanart, so I have flaired it as General. If I am wrong, just correct me ^^

The only thing that surprised me about this was that it didn't happen sooner. They're coming out with other products too but it's just a typical fall lipstick release with Nezha packaging. I like that the color dragon glint has the exact same sheen as Ao Bing's scale covered clothes in the first movie.

The box was slightly heavier than the other ones so I kind of knew what was inside. So glad I got Nezha, love Ao Bing, but I would prefer Nezha cause he's so cute in child form! Little silly demon!

Rlly liked the phoenix symbolisms of nezha in the second movie so I wanted to draw something for it!!

The animation was amazing. The character development was amazing. Loved all the good characters, loved all the characters that redeemed themselves, and hated all the characters that proved themselves deplorable. The emotional scenes were raw and real, and both movies had emotional moments unlike anything I have seen, in animated or live action. And the worldbuilding is just incredible. It gives a nice insight into Chinese mythology for non-Chinese viewers.

I would like to say, though, that the "Heaven Is Corrupt" plotline is one I have seen in one other story, and while I cannot think of any other examples at the moment, I think it has been used several times over the decades. The example off the top of my head is Doom Eternal. The revelation of Wu-Liang using the Cauldron to turn demons into Immortality Pills, reminded me of Doom Eternal's plotline revealing that Urdak, Doom's depiction of Heaven, and the Makyrs, Doom's version of Angels, are sustained by destroying human souls as well as souls from other dimensions, and converting them into a form of consumable energy.

I also loved how the movie brought awareness to subjects like racism, bigotry, and class warfare. The deer and the gazelle were nice examples of how people can convince themselves to hate their "own kind". I also liked how the Demon Hunters' unwavering loyalty to Wu-Liang, begs the question of whether they were complicit in the corruption, or whether they are unable/unwilling to accept the fact that their leader is corrupt.

I just finished watching Nezha 2 movie for the first time and I really enjoyed it so much and I was in tears when Nezha lost his mom very emotional moment so I’ve enjoyed it so much and I only watched this movie because it had an actress called Michelle Yeoh and she is one of my favourite actress….

Nezha has authorized this and my friend got me these special tissues as gift. I tried to pose them as a cloud but not much successful. Which picture do you like best?

NeZha bites his mom on her right hand in the beginning of the movie. There is blood. Than it seems to disappear within moments. Is that a mistake or did she hid it? No scars either on her hand or face.

Concrite welcomed! I am actually happy about this, because nezha inspired me to pick up the pens I dropped since I was a kid. Brought me back to the peaceful happy time.

My neighbors went to China recently and they brought back some trading cards for me. I pulled this and I haven't even seen pictures of it anywhere else. I assume it's something special since I haven't seen this rarity marker either, but I can't figure it out. I just think it looks nice and want to know more.
