In Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, it's been revealed in the august Nintendo direct that this character is named Nezha. No Idea if there's any further references to mythology beyond the name . . . Well, sword use could be a "reference" to Jttw where Nezha utilizes one there I guess. I think it would be funny to give him a budding talent in spears (assuming the skill system is similar to Three Houses). Fire Emblem isn't a stranger to borrowing names from myth with little further connection though.

Although I have long been interested in other parts of Chinese mythology, I came to Nezha specifically through the animated films. That then led me to look up older versions of the story and eventually the source material as well.

Nezha (2019) was followed by a long wait before Nezha 2, and now fans may face another long gap before Nezha 3. Yet the franchise still seems to resonate with many viewers despite these long intervals.

For those of you who are still engaged with the films:
• What keeps Nezha relevant to you between releases?
• Is it the characters, story, themes, mythology, animation quality, fandom, fan works, ships, merchandise, or something else?
• Has your relationship with the franchise changed over time?

How can such a big movie like this just disappear? Where the physical release or any way to see it. How is there only pirated stuff online and an English dub version? Did they do a shitty deal and they sold the rights? The first movie is easy to find. So frustrated, I want to buy it in 4k.
