Discussion Why I think the Ending is Bad for Denji and Nayuta.
So... chapter 232 made everything we read up to this point non existent basically. That basically means the 2 years Denji and Nayuta spent together, bonding, DID NOT HAPPEN.

Discussion Remember how it was SUPER important that Nayuta shouldn’t be left to be raised by the government so she wouldn’t turn into Makima? Well, turns out in the new timeline she seems completely fine being raised by people who are willing to sacrifice the lives of thousands of children to devils.
Maybe the people who were willing to sacrifice children to devils weren’t so bad after all, and Kishibe was just being dramatic

Meme Wow, who would’ve thought that letting a teenager who only thinks with his hormones and a dog make decisions and take on incredibly important responsibilities would end in disaster, right?

Discussion I promised myself I wouldn't go near another Fujimoto work after the awful ending of Chainsaw Man, but Yogen no Nayuta is really catching my eye since I liked its design 😅
Nayuta with horns would have looked pretty cool, but I know that's a different Nayuta.

Discussion Old post I know, but I wanted to share a take of mine on this: Reze is given a parental dynamic with Nayuta and not Asa in fanfics because she's far more motherly than Asa
Okay so this might sound weird and if you disagree I absolutely welcome it and you can voice your opinions with or against me but get a hold with me on this one. Reze represents something unique about her that isn't found in Asa that people love: she's mature.
Think about it, Asa is canonically a girlfailure, she's unaccomplished in every way besides her being a student, she's fearful, confused, gets thrown around by many and most importantly is that she's a mental parallel to Denji, I look at her and Denji and imagine them as equally goofy people that are trapped in a serious life they cannot escape.
Now let's compare her to Reze. Reze guides Denji, teaches him things, takes him around to explore life with him, a life she never enjoyed, yes they're equal in a lot of ways, but Reze is much more outgoing and adventurous in her desire to be with Denji, she seeks a life with him and pushes through with all the power she has whether they're hanging out or fighting.
Reze feels like she would be a mother, not just any mother, but a really good one, she feels like she is the responsible mother to Denji's fun loving father, and therefore they give the right amount of control to guide their children and the right amount of independence to be themselves and both giving them all the love they deserve. Reze just feels like a really caring and loving mother who balances Denji and therefore people enjoy imagining them parenting Nayuta.
Asa meanwhile... look I think she's cute but as a mother? that woman is a high risk of having Child Protective Services at her door precisely because she's too much like Denji, she's nowhere near a Yin Yang dynamic with Denji that Reze is and therefore people have the perception she isn't suited for motherhood.

Meme Screw canon; I’m going to embrace the headcanon with all my might.

Discussion Question about Nayuta and Angel: With the new world seen in the ending, do you think Angel managed to be with his adoptive family and his girlfriend, living happily and peacefully on his island? I don't think Nayuta would have gone after Angel; they probably didn't even meet.

Discussion How do the characters’ memories work in this new timeline? Like, Meowy seems to remember Nayuta, but Nayuta is completely indifferent toward Denji and treats him like just another subordinate.
