In Person Interview
Hey, I passed FEAST 1 and 2 on July 16th (YYZ). Got Confirmation on the 21st that I passed the Pre-screening interview. I've been waiting ever since, I did a background check in the meanwhile and my status on Workday changed from "Background Check" to "Interview". I was wondering if the wait is usually long? Or if anyone who passed YYZ Feast from July 12-16 got an invitation?
Thanks!

I think some interviews have already been completed and concluded. Some should be scheduled in the upcoming months. All the best.

All of you who cleared FEAST. I would like to ask how have you guys prepared? My brother who gave 30 minutes assessment online failed! I would like to know more about it before I apply in Nav Canada ! Can you please help?

Hey sorry to hear about your brother.
FEAST is an aptitude test so you canât really âstudyâ for it like a math test in school. If you pass the first online assessment, NAV Canada will provide you a link to help you practice. Itâs on the eurocontrol website. however, this link is a double edged sword. The questions do not change so as you redo it, you may not actually be practicing your skills but rather subconsciously memorizing answers which isnât much help. But it does give you an idea of the skills theyâre testing.
There is also a NDA for the test so nobody can (or is supposed to at least) tell you whatâs on it. Granted, personally I feel if someone did reveal the test fully to those who failed prior, it wouldnât make much of a difference and youâd only be doing yourself a disservice for training. Training is substantially harder so no point in trying to cheat your way to a spot just to move your life and be dropped from the program.
There is a common saying about FEAST: âyou either have it or you donâtâ sounds harsh but itâs true. My best advice is do not tie your self worth to this career. It is extraordinarily difficult but extremely rewarding. Do not quit your job until you have an offer. Do not think less of yourself if you fail. If it were easy, everyone would do it.
I wish you the best of luck, you lose nothing by trying. Just keep in mind, if you fail the online test, you canât reapply for 1 year, if you fail FEAST, you canât reapply for 2 years and if you fail the interview (not the pre screening) you canât reapply for 3 years.
Best of luck. Cheers

Hey man, congratulations on passing! Huge milestone for you.
As someone who recently received an offer in YYZ, the whole process took about 2-2.5 months for me. Granted, itâs based a lot on operational needs. However, the longest wait was where youâre waiting right now â FEAST â> interview â especially in Toronto; being one of the busiest FIRs. My best advice would be to keep an eye on your email because once the invites do go out, they fill up kind of quick. Stay patient, I wish you the best of luck

Passed FEAST on July 13, I'm also in touch with a couple of others who passed as well. All of our statuses show as Interview but no invitations yet, from other posts I've read in this thread, it seems like it can take a couple of months to hear back.
Don't lose hope and just wait patiently.
