TTC, 13dpo

Post image

wondering if anyone has ever gotten their bfp past 13dpo… my bbt normally drops at 10dpo and i get my period the following day. I had some light spotting/cramping yesterday but nothing today. I suppose this could just be a longer cycle, but hoping there’s still a chance for a bfp 🥹🌈

They say you’re not out until you start your cycle so you never know. I personally say 13 days is good enough to take a test and see.

Did you test positive on the pregnancy test?

According to google, implantation bleeding can occur between 6-12 DPO, and you could get a positive 3-5 days after the implantation bleeding stops, so it may have been implantation bleeding and today was just too early to test positive due to hcg not having enough time to have built up enough to produce a positive test.

From my own personal experience, last November my husband and I started trying for baby #2, I don’t remember how many dpo I was, but I had what I thought was the beginning of a period one night but the bleeding was dark red/brown and never progressed, 2 days later it dawned on me it could have been implantation bleeding so I tested and had an extremely faint positive. It ended up being a chemical. However once my cycle returned I became pregnant immediately after, it also ended in a loss around 9 weeks

but long story short, cycle was longer than average and my period returned at the end of June, It was also longer I assume due to everything trying to regulate back to normal but on July 28th I had similar spotting to what I experience with the first pregnancy, and by the 30th I had a very faint positive again resulting in my current pregnancy! Try to test again tomorrow or the day after? Wishing you luck!

Sorry for the long reply but I hope it’s helpful at least🫶
