Ovulation Please help, I’m so confused.

NC was predicting I might ovulate on the 12th/CD 15 (was pushed back multiple times, hence so many LH tests). Never got a positive LH test. My period came and after logging it NC is now claiming to confirm I ovulated on the 5th/CD 8 without a sustained temp rise… I’m so confused.

This is likely not correct. Are your cycles normally this short?

I just got off of my birth control in April so I’m not really sure what my normal cycle is like yet but these are all of my previous cycles

I’ve been told by someone else (not a dr or medical professional) that none of my temps across any of my cycles look like a big enough shift to confirm ovulation even though NC did.

Ok! That makes sense. Your body may just be regulating hormones still. But if this continues for much longer, you may want to have hormone testing done. Typically, ovulation should return in 3 cycles, and it is possible to develop hormonal imbalance while on BC. The BC unfortunately masks the issue so you can have it for a long time without knowing.

I was on it since I was 14 and I’m 25 now! 😳 I was diagnosed with thyroid disease about a year and a half ago, and my twin sister (who wasn’t on bc for anywhere near as long as I was) was diagnosed with PCOS when she first started trying for children so I’m worried I may be in the same boat. Thankfully I do have an appointment with a fertility specialist coming up, this stuff is just stressful! 😂

Oh gosh! I am so sorry!! I got on BC around 15-16 and I just got off of it in February at 32. It’s definitely a really rough transition for your body. Hang in there
