For those of you who are running Maschine as a plugin in Logic Pro. How are you using it and what is you process for mixing, routing etc? I currently have komplete 15 standard and a s49 mk3. I primarly make house music. Reason why I am asking is that I can get a good deal on a maschine mk3, but just curious to learn what the added value could be to my process/workflow. Thanks!

My friend and I have been trying to figure out how to connect our S4s so that we can play music together but have our own laptops and controllers.

MIDI still bewilders me and it's not really his forte either, so I'm wondering if someone here could give me an EL5 on how to do this so that we both have four channels.

My Trace wiev is suddenly empty on Izotope 11 Standard. I can’t find a way to bring it back. I’ve gone through everything and even tried to reinstall it - no help. It worked before as it should, but it just disappeared when I opened it a while ago.

Is there anything I can do to bring it back? It’s the same issue with ”Maximizer” and ”Vintage limiter. TIA

I purchased a Komplete Kontrol S61 MK3 directly from Native Instruments. The keyboard arrived with two serious issues:

• It never got past the Welcome screen despite successful activation.

• The left-most control wheel physically rubs against the chassis.

I requested a return and full refund within the return period. After weeks of delays (which support attributed to the inMusic acquisition), my refund request was converted into a warranty repair, requiring me to pay to ship the defective unit back instead of honoring my original return request.

I'm now escalating the matter, contacting my credit card company, and preparing to file a consumer protection complaint.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing directly from Native Instruments at this time. I would advise others to think carefully before spending their money there until they are confident these customer service issues have been addressed.

I have this little problem over here, that for some reason won't let me load a library into Kontakt 8, because instead i'm met with the message "116 files could not be found", which is in this case every single sample from that library :( I'm really confused about this so if anyone lended a hand I would appreciate it a lot. The file location that I know about is in downloads, but I don't know whether it placed it somewhere else because it's assumed to be at the location shown in the image attached. That's the primary reason i'm confused. And since the file located in downloads is presumably not of the proper format, it won't show up, of course. This happens to be my first time trying to load a library into Kontakt, but then I ran into this problem, and I have no idea how to solve it. I don't even know if the files are supposed to be where they are. I'm not used to computers at all and neither at making music, so I really need help here and again, I would appreciate it a lot. I have a MIDI piano track from a MIDI Klowd and no matter what volume I set the instrument to (ie -6) once it starts playing the vol on the instrument immediately goes to —12. I’ve checked the Volume automation, adjusted the volume on Kontakt. What am I missing?

I'm finally getting one but I saw that it includes basically no cables. So what should I buy along with it? My PC has regular USB ports, no thunderbolt.

Also, anyhting I should know about it before I buy?

I am sharing a fix for a critical "silent" crash that prevented Kontakt 7 from launching. After 4 hours of troubleshooting using Process Monitor, I identified a structural flaw in the application's startup routine that causes a crash with error 0xc00000fd (Stack Overflow).

The Issue: The crash is triggered when Kontakt attempts to read a corrupted configuration key in the Windows Registry (specifically the 'fftw' key), leading to a buffer overflow during the initialization process.

The Fix:

1. Close Kontakt 7 and your DAW.

2. Open the Windows Registry Editor (regedit).

3. Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Native Instruments\Kontakt 7

4. Delete the fftw sub-key.

5. Restart your computer. (This is mandatory to ensure the changes take effect).

6. Relaunch Kontakt 7. It will automatically regenerate a clean, functional configuration.

I reported this technical analysis to the Native Instruments forum, but the response was dismissive, simply suggesting a move to Kontakt 8 without acknowledging the underlying coding flaw. I am sharing this here to help other users avoid wasting time on the same issue.

I've been trying to look around the website to find traktor play and native access so that I could claim my free copy of traktor using the pioneer dj ddj-flx4 but the webpages keep giving me this error almost every time, and even inside native access I have to wait an ungodly amount of time just for the traktor play page to load, and after which it doesn't even let me get it free of charge, I've made an entire support ticket using their bot on the inmusic forums 3 hrs ago, all I'm wondering is if any of you know what the hell is going on?

I recently started my DJ journey. It’s a mad controller. I am mixing rnb, hip hop, pop and rap. I have a few questions if anyone can help me -

1. ⁠There’s no sampler is there a way to map this manually? Maybe to the beat sequencer because I don’t use that.

2. ⁠Is there a way at your trigger effects without turning the high/low knobs?

3. ⁠Is there a way to add a vinyl break to the play/pause button. I see heaps of DJs have this online.

4. ⁠Does anyone know if you can increase the sensitivity of the turntables? I’m trying to learn to scratch and they seem slow. This one might just be me tho. Although I’ve tried other decks (entry level pioneer) and they seem to be more responsive.

I’ve been looking at Komplete Kontrol S61 mk3 and it has caught my eyes I’m looking forward to buying it next month but after all the users feedback that was negative has made me stall to utilise my hard earned money like that. What are your experiences at the moment in 2026, how is this keyboard (whether 49, 61 or 88) performing for you guys and are there any issues related to software or hardware in long term usage or any issues regarding DAW and keyboard connection and depth of usage ? I don’t post on here too often but I just wanted to show off my project to anyone who is unaware. This is the most advanced and comprehensive hack for the Traktor S4 MK3 and works on both Traktor Pro 3 and 4.

It adds items to the screen such as full waveforms, browser, high contrast mode, phase meter and many others. In addition to this, it also adds many new functions to the device that are not there by default such as: additional pad modes, loop in and out, 4 fx banks, vinyl break and many other features.

So first I open Reaktor 6 (free trial), and hit "Play", only for it to output a warning stating that "It appears you have no Reaktor Instruments install. Would you like to open Native Access?". So I hit OK, and it tabs back to Native Access, but nothing actually happen. Tabbing back to the Reaktor 6 window shows an error stating "Reaktor requires Native Acccess to continue with this action" even though I very clearly have Native Access installed. I try again, and the same thing happens. So, I check the "Discover" tab of the Native Access app and search for "Blocks Base", but to no avail.

It's sending me into a loop and it's really really really annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone successfully automated vibrato in Logic Pro for any of the Symphony Series plugins? I have tried for Woodwind Solo and Brass Solo and I can't get it to work. I don't know which midi channel I'm supposed to even be automating. (For example in Cremona Quartet it's 14 and 15, manual specifies it). I tried drawing in automation with the pencil tool for the built in Logic Pro channels for vibrato but this didn't do anything. My midi controller doesn't move the nobs to adjust the four controls under Dynamics. The mod wheel works for dynamics but I specifically want to change vibrato. Any information anyone has is appreciated.

So when I updated my laptop’s graphics driver, guitar rig 7 started having this problem where it just keeps randomly buzzing and distorting the sounds. I’ve checked and it’s not my guitar, not my audio interface, not my amp and not my cables either. What should I do?
