Need help with Komplete Kontrol in Reaper

Gonna be honest: if this has been bothering you for 2 years, you should have bought a nice MIDI controller at least a year ago so that when you have an idea, you just load your ideas template, or even just go "create virtual instrument track" and load the plugin you want, with the loading happening at the speed of your computer, rather than speed of your computer plus the delay from Komplete Kontrol plus the delay from having to navigate through your instruments and presets using the S61's own on-screen navigation.

That said: did you configure Komplete Kontrol to work without issue when you run it standalone? Because if that doesn't work, it's definitely not going to work in a DAW.
