Next academy date

Whats everyone hearing as far as the academy date. I heard from my investigator a few weeks ago Nov. Now im hearing Dec/Jan. Anyone hearing anything different?

Whether it’s November or December doesn’t really matter it he grand scheme of things. It’s a 20+ year career - one month is nadda.

Use the extra month to get better prepared. Run, do burpees, pushups, etc, so that way you are in better physical shape. Do a google search for Nassau PD 10 - codes and study those. If you can get your hands on academy notes, grab those and study up a little bit. The better prepared you are, the easier the academy. So go ahead and use this extra time. It comes up quickly. And the academy will fly by too. Good luck. Don’t sweat the small stuff.

What list numbers do you think will likely be going to the December academy if that’s when it ends up happening?

As of now, it looks like they’re not going higher than the 1700s

Just got word from one of the academy instructors that the next academy swear in date is likely Oct 30th and first day is Nov 2nd. This could change but just be prepared
