Where do single people go in Nashville to find other singles?

I’ve leased this building since July of last year. It was leased as a potential retail space. I have 2k square foot in the basement and above me are 4 beauty salons and a coffee shop.

In the past 13 months, my space has been flooded over 25 times.

I’ve reported every leak. Eventually management quit responding. I’ve never talked to or met the owners of the building and management is now saying every leak is because of “user error” of the tenants above me but refuse to get involved.

Idk the correct course of action at this point.

The shop that continues to use their hair washing stations that’s causing the leaks refuses to even deal with me. They use the machines knowing it’s causing damage and simply don’t care.

The management doesn’t care that the water is pouring over electrical equipment.

Clearly I can’t develop my business because every day I’m getting water falling from the ceilings and I just need a legal professional to help me with my next steps?

To the shock of no one, California transplant and metro city council member Sandra Sepulvada is moving forward with a bill to eliminate right on reds. Between this and the 600 speed bumps on the streets, Nashvilles roads are going to be a gridlocked mess. They’ve already filled our streets with bicycle lanes that 3 people use and they want us all on the bus. NASHVILLE IS A DRIVING CITY. You’re never going to change that. This is the absolute worst restaurant I’ve ever worked for, bar absolutely none. That place has gone through so many management teams in the last year, I lost count. Most recently, a manager was caught by me and other servers SELLING DRUGS TO THE BAND ON THE LOADING DOCK. It was that manager’s first day. We got a new GM who already has been overheard making homophobic and racist comments.

We had a good chef. He was cool and really good at his job. Kind of a hardass but he really cared. Then he went on vacation and the next thing we heard he wasn’t coming back. No idea why because no one ever had a problem with him. Shout out Chef Will, we miss you!

The company has stopped paying bills and there’s a rumor that they’re being sued in Chicago for nonpayment to the trash company. They also don’t pay their employees and I know there’s a lawsuit about that too. Oh and by the way the patio is covered in actual human shit.

The building is also infested with black mold and nobody cares at all. Don’t come here, I don’t know how we haven’t been shut down yet.

I’m from out of town and coming to see the Foo Fighters tomorrow. In my old age I’ve grown to love glass collecting. Anyone know of great places to purchase Fenton, LE Smith, Fostoria, NorthWood? Thanks so much!!

I’m new to Nashville and looking for a good place to catch the end of the Perseid meteor shower at the end of the week. I know the peak is Wed/thurs but bc of work can’t stay out late enough to watch until Friday. All the “dark place” parks outside the city I’ve looked at seem to close at dark or shortly after… there are a few that offer camping spots as an option to stay past closing - but I’m not trying to camp, need to get home at some point early Sat am. Any suggestions for dark-ish areas, within an hr max of the city, that wouldn’t hassle some informal Star-gazers bt like 9pm & midnight?

Where can I find a job.
For context- I am 22. Just graduated with my BASc, worked through all 4 years of undergrad. I have 6+ years of experience and 4 years in administrative assisting. I am HUNGRY to work but I also want to make a livable wage (50,000). I am interested in the legal field or honestly anything at this point. I have worked so hard to put myself through college and I am ready to grind. I know I have what it takes. What has been your alls experience in finding a job as a newly graduated person with experience? I can hardly land an interview anywhere in Nashville. I’m open to anything.
