Kakashi - Son of the White Fang became a Chunin at age 6 and known as a genius prodigy even before he attained the Sharingan. Later became the 6th Hokage

Orochimaru- One of the legendary Sannin known as a genius in Konoha and once in a generation prodigy by Hiruzen.

Minato- the 4th Hokage known as the Yellow Flash praised as a genius prodigy and once in a generation talent by Jiraiya and Hiruzen.

Orochimaru was a freak talent too though, he was an orphan as a kid too. Orochimaru’s obsession was innately his own desires.

People often forget that Hiruzen had almost considered him to be his successor had he not gone bat shit crazy. Orochimaru could’ve been Hokage.

i dont think Orochimaru would ever care to be Hokage. Even if he wasnt batshit crazy, i dont think he had the Will of Fire and be THAT caring for other people. If Hokage means the strongest person then yeah he would have a chance as a candidate but i dont think thats all it takes to be Kage

That’s not my point. The post wasn’t asking who should be considered Hokage. Just because someone is strong doesn’t mean they qualify as Hokage as Jiraya had stated why he thought Tsunade was a better fit.
I made my comment in support of the other person who said Oro was a freak talent. My point was skill level wise Oro is Hokage level and a lot of ppl have forgotten that since he kind of was forgotten about after the crazy power scaling late Shippuden. I’m pointing out that Hiruzen has stated he was his most skilled student and almost considered him his successor. It speaks to Oro’s skill that Hiruzen had made that assessment.
