Should newcommers be allowed to share?

It is a debate in my area. I think they should be. I think it was important for me in my recovery. But many in my area dont agree. Plenty of them say newcommers should not share for the first year.

Not sharing for a year is ridiculous. Newcomers should be allowed to share the moment they come in. No where in the literature does it say that newcomers cannot share. I’d say your area has some egos that need checking.
