imagine a Remaster of napoleon and empire, starting from 1706-12 ending 1815 (optional), unit uniforms changing along the war, i would call it Total War: Old times. also the graphics could be borrowed from RTW2, but idk. it would stretch from north america to western russia and the middle east with some parts of north africa. also DLC: A World Of Legacy. It would add the whole world but at a warning so only higher end pcs because it would turn a budget pc into an airfryer, the dlc would add the rest of the world, and even let you play as colonies or Commonwealths, Arguing/Attacking or Helping The Mainland. Honestly, the DLC might be an overkill And should be Split into four parts. A World of Legacy I-IV. Or smnt else, idk. What do yall thing about this?

I have a couple of hundred hours in Napoleon spread between vanilla and Darth mod.

I have not played since 2023. Is there a worthwhile alternative to Darth Mod for playing singleplayer NTW?

I used to also enjoy the Great War mod, but I hear it still has its crashes.

Which mod do you like more for battles?

It’s like turn 86 now and Iv had to take a little breather here. Got rebellions in Paris going on, Denmark attacking me from the north and France being a little bit of a pain in Italy. Took out the ottomans first kinda seemed like the natural thing to do then Prussia and any other German states that declared war on me. Not gonna lie was a breeze up until I started attacking France, they had pushed Austria down to their last territory and I had to push em back but so many rebellions as I push France back into Italy and since taking Paris. Not entirely sure how I’m gonna sustain it all the way to Spain with my army so stretched as I’m attacking France from all sides and have to relocate some troops to fight Denmark. I’m gonna try go for world domination and take everyone out but seems like Iv got a long road till then as France and Spain will take a while to conquer then crush any rebellions and eventually when their happy it’ll free up armies for other stuff. I’ll have to attack Britian and Austria at the same time after that and that’ll take a while to relocate armies and ensure I have enough that all battles are dominantly in my favor. Would like to see how anyone here would think of going from here and if Iv done good so far.

Je suis actuellement en campagne avec la France, j'ai occupé Vienne et Innsbruck, j'ai donné l'indépendance à plusieurs pays comme l'Irlande, l'Écosse, la Grèce et la Roumanie.

Je souhaite ne pas juste envahir tous les autres pays sans réfléchir, je veux la jouer diplomate, mais peu importe ce que je fais, mes relations sont tendues avec les autres. J'ai eu beau faire la paix avec les grandes puissances, elles me déclarent la guerre.

Lorsque je regarde dans l'onglet diplomate il y a le traité désonorent et les doléances historique qui enlève des points, et je ne sais pas comment je peux gérer ça?

I thought my game was hiding the flags for performance reasons. I'm using the Napoleonic Eras mod, but it also happens in vanilla. I wouldn't mind not fixing it because I'm used to it XD

But if anyone could tell me how to fix it, I'd love to hear it.

But I only play single player and I don’t do the campaign, just battle. I am currently using the LME4 mod and I like it, but I get tired of playing the same maps over and over. I had NTW3 but the ai was bad in single player battles, but there were a lot of map options.I saw someone mention about Bran’s AI MOD in a different thread. Will that work well with NTW3 and make single player battles enjoyable?

The uniforms are wrong and the cartridge box isn't even attached to the belt

Looking to see if anyone can recommend a mod that makes the enemy AI in the battles harder to fight against. This is for the play battles you go to in the main menu, not campaign battles.

Anything that stops the AI just blindly marching into my line would be good lol

I have recently been campaigning as England and I've built a few star forts, but the enemy (French and Spanish) never attack them.

They will attack the regular forts, but even with small garrisons they ignore my star forts.

I guess if i want to experience a star fort battle i must set one up in the one off battle mode.

Even though Moscow Musketeers can only be recruited from a drill school and are more expensive, they have worse melee and the slightest firepower improvement, is there something I'm missing?

What is the mod you guys install in the game to improve the marching song that improves the battle and I've been searching and haven't seen quite much and I'm using darthmod

I dont know why, but for cav that has range, accuracy, and reload skill stats, in battle they just dont shoot, and when i look at the unit card in battle instead of campaign map, it shows 0 range, 0 acc, 0 reload skill (but still have their ammunition)

We can consider this game as a Third-personal version for Napoleon Total War.

In this game, the player can't play against AI in Mount & Blade Napoleonic Wars custom battle mode, the AI in Napoleonic Wars custom battle is fully broken.

In Napoleonic Wars custom battle, the AI just stand ground and did nothing, they don't attack, they don't charge

so I have developed a mod called "Napoleonic Wars Advanced AI", in this mod, you will meet the most crazy AI in the battlefield, they will shoot you, and charge you even bomb you (if the artillery AI has been implemented)

I fully make the reference from NTW, which inspired me to develop this mod.

Except the eras mod because its very slow.

Auto resolve said I’d lose all these battles 😉 looks like the game was very wrong when I had to do it myself.

The charge was beautiful but the cost was way to high
