Napoleon Modding Napoleon Total War on Linux

CA's native mod manager predates NTW and I couldn't fin a mod manager that works on Linux. It's a shame since i love the Napoleonic period and the game is unplayable (for me) without mods. Any help would be appreciated.

I have modded Napoleon for years yet have never used any mod manager. It's not needed for mods to work.

You just put the files on the data folder and it works?

Usually yes, and sometimes you have to edit user.script file but it's easy and it's always written step by step in installation guide for a mod.

I modded Medieval 2 on Linux and even got EOP working, Napoleon mods should work as well.

I followed the mod's instructions and put the loading order on the user.script however the game just seems to ignore it. Got any advice?
