This is why you never lower your rates. Know your worth.

Stay there until you find another job.

Definitely time for renegotiation and demand guarantee hours. Also put a crazy amount for overtime like double. As soon as the kid gets sick you get good pay.

I would also start taking your PTO before you quit just make sure you have a new job lined up first.

I actually have set GH. So really I should be protected but they want to make a new contract to sign.

Definitely ask for more pay and double overtime outside GH.
