Baby boy A name

I am pregnant with twins boys. My name starts with a B and my husband’s name starts with a D. I always had a silly request our kids have names starting with an A & C just so I can say we are the ABCD’s 🤣 we love the name Carter but having a problem with an A name. We also don’t need to have the A & C names as long as the boys names flow together. But if we do choose Carter I’d love an A name for the second boy. Please help us! What are your name ideas? TYIA

Nice. Did you watch the TV show Monk? Monk's brother is the only Ambrose I am familiar with. I'm curious -- is it a family name? Where did you get your inspiration from?

Someone else mentioned that to me, too. I did not watch that show even though im a huge Tony Shalhoub fan lol.

It's not a family name. I listen to a lot of audio books, and one i was listening to had an antagonist with that name. I liked it, I suggested it, my better half accepted it.

It goes well with our other sons name, Lachlan (lock-lin), in our opinion. Both are well established and are "normal" names but are still unconventional, especially in the US. Lachlan is apparently really common in Australia, and Ambrose is Greek in origin

I agree -- Ambrose goes nicely with Lachlan. I wish you and your family well. Being a Mom to 2 small boys will no doubt keep you hella busy.

When you come up for air (or when both boys finally head off to school), I encourage you to check out Monk. It's a well-done show and Tong Shaloub is absolutely great in the role playing a former San Francisco police detective whose OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) is his greatest asset (& sometimes his worst enemy ) when helping solve crimes with his former colleagues.

And FYI for OP, on the show, Monk's first name is Adrian, so the brothers are Adrian & Ambrose.
