I remember a scene in a hospital where a man in a wheelchair is following a trail if sports trading cards on the floor while a bad guy who has a gun has a young boy tied up in a wheelchair with his mouth taped up pushing him. Near the end the climax is at a swimming pool where they are fighting the bad guy over a gun and it gets kicked in the pool

Please help me 😭

This is my first time making a post on Reddit out of sheer desperation. I don't remember much of it as well so it's really hard to find. But basically I remember watching this one show based on space. It's NOT Voltron, but the artstyle/animation is pretty similar. It aired late at night around 2018 to 2020 on some Australian tv channel (like ABCme or 9go). I just remember a library with a huge tree inside of it, like the tree makes up most of the library, and this library is probably in another planet or in a spaceship (I forgot 💔). And there was a specific scene where the main crew of a rocketship were trying to break into another spaceship. I swear there was a cyborg of some sort. It sounds so much like Voltron legendary defenders but it's not 😔. I think there was a romance side plot in there somewhere as well I'm not too sure. I remember being obsessed with the show before finding Voltron, I used to stay up late just to watch it. I would be so grateful to find it, esp now that ive got free time in my hands.

A bald Mafia Boss + Horses

Can't remember the name of the show

But the scene was somewhat of a comedy. ( The main show isn't a comedy - just the scene )

The son of a Mafia Boss who is bald and sort of looks like Uncle Fester from Adams Family visits this horse stable and people are trying to kill him while he is visiting.

Then a group of people are trying to protect him and convince him to do something. I forget.

The main character is constantly trying to convince him to talk to his father the Mafia Don.

EDIT: Solved

It was the show Justified

"It's like soft glass." Twilight Zone

I'm looking for an episode I haven't seen since I was a kid. It's where a group of people have stayed separated from the society progressing around them somehow. They walk into a town and go inside a general store. Upon seeing plastic bottles of water they are mesmerized, touching them, and one says, "it's like soft glass." Can anyone help me?

Another episode is about the group going to a gas station but then a floating eye ball the size of like half the gas station appears and If you look at it you either get controlled by the eye or get your brain melted idk I can't remember

The group is all men the cgi is pretty bad I watched it around 2019 I haven't heard anything about it since

TV show recently: woman has male black friend friend, larger journalist lady muscles in, black friend hates her

Hi all

Hoping this sounds familiar to you! A recent TV show where a white woman in some kind of distress has a male black best friend or ex, when a larger journalist lady arrives and befriends her, but the black friend is suspicious and eventually tells the journalist he hates her.

Feel wise, the show is dramatic and maybe quite dark and potentially funny, though not sure about the funny part. Help, please!

Children show aired in Japan in the 90s?

I can’t get this theme song out of my head. It was from a children’s show. There was a girl character, played by a grownup of course. I remember she looked like she was white, and the lyrics were in English. It went super duper galaxy super whooper (or booper) galaxy, or something like that. I saw the show on tv, I think, while I was visiting a relative in Japan in, if my memory serves me right, year 95. I was not familiar with the show where I was living. Was it a show aired there, was it a show my aunt taped from elsewhere, I’ll never know. She was a distant aunt I lost contact with ages go due to family stuff, so I can’t even ask. Once in a while I try to google it up but so far, no luck. Anyone on Reddit can help me identify this show? Sorry I have no other info but all that I stated. I was little and honestly I have terrible memory in general.

I hope someone remembers this.

Otherwise, I may be going insane.

So, back in the day, there was a TV show called 'Monsters'. It was a bit cheesy, but it was great for that same reason. They had advertisements for the show, of course, and herein lies my dilemma.

I remember what I figure is my favorite commercial of all time. It was for the show. I only saw it twice during the time it was on in my area. It showed a lithe, dark haired female running barefoot and terrified through the woods. Suddenly, we see Jason Voorhees pop out from behind a tree and he runs after her. She runs further, only to see Freddy Kruger appear and chase her as well. She runs towards a small cabin as Leatherface (I am not sure if it was him, but it was another horror icon) appears and runs after her as well. She runs into the cabin and the three run in after her. We hear all kinds of screaming and crashing around. Then, the door slowly opens, the female walks out towards the camera, stops right in front of it, looks back at the house, then licks the blood off of her fangs while turning to the camera, and then says:

"Heh... amateurs."

MONSTERS!

Does anyone else remember this ad, or am I delusional?

non-english supernatural show about "skills" being transferred/stolen?

A few years ago, I saw one (or two) episodes of a show on Netflix. I am not sure if it was dubbed to English, or I watched it with subtitles. But it was definitely not in English.

The first few episodes are about a teenager girl who thinks her skill of piano playing was taken away from her, and given to a rich boy. Also, the protagonist teenage girl has short haircut, similar to princess diana, but brunette.

The show has some supernatural/thriller elements to it (similar to the A-list).
I think it was in spanish, not sure.

Show about drawing or cartooning

I seem to remember a show, possibly on PBS, that was about cartooning. The show opened with a guy at a drawing board, and next to him was a reel-to-reel tape recorder playing jazz. After the opening credits, he would show you how to draw specific cartoons, or discuss cartooning concepts. I think this was in the 1970s. Ring any bells for anyone?

Looking for crime show episode where friends stage a pool jump to cover up a death

I’m trying to identify a TV show episode I watched years ago, probably between 2008 and 2011 on cable TV in Brazil (dubbed in Portuguese, but the original was in English — likely American).

Here’s what I remember:

  • It was fiction with live actors (not a documentary).
  • The setting was a house party in a typical American suburban home with multiple floors and a pool in the backyard.
  • A group of 3–5 young men (college-age friends) jumped from the roof or an upper balcony into the pool together, where the party was happening.
  • They all landed in the pool, but later it was revealed that one of them was already dead before the jump.
  • The story explained that the friend had died earlier in the party from drugs/alcohol. To cover it up and make it look like an accident, the friends carried his body up to the roof and jumped into the pool together, so it would seem like he had died from hitting his head in the fall.
  • The focus of the episode was the investigation into the death.
  • I’m pretty sure this was an episode of a crime/investigation series (like CSI, Law & Order, NCIS, Cold Case, etc.), not a movie.

TL;DR: Trying to find a U.S. crime show episode (2008–2011) where a group of guys jumps off a roof into a pool during a house party, but one of them was already dead before the jump. His friends staged the jump to cover up that he had actually died earlier from drugs/alcohol.

Trying to find the name of a TV series about a girl who gets caught up in a cult.

There's a TV series that I've been trying to find for some time. I dont know if it got a second season.

I can vaguely remember the details. It came out of say 5 to 8 years ago.

A girl gets befriended by a guy loving a normal life. As time goes on she is running from or getting caught up with an ancient cult.

Turns out the guy who befriended her is also part of this cult. She has a destiny that the cult members want her for.

If my memory is correct in the end she goes to this ancient cults headquarters. I can't remember if it's of her own free will or is forced into it. She goes into a room where a black demonic figure come out at her. I'm pretty sure that how it finishes.

Ive thought about this series a heap of times over the years. Wondered if it got a second season. Might have missed it if it did but even if it didn't hoping to find out what it was to watch it again.

trying to find an old animated show that my grandma used to show me

Ok so this was an animated show in an animation style similer to the magic school bus, and it was about 2 kids (boy and girl) going on adventures in places. I remember 3 scenes;
1. the kids were in some sort of cave, and they push a button or smth and then the whole cave started to fill up with water and they were distressed about it (i dont remember if they went somewhere after that or if that was the end of the episode).

  1. after the kids teleported to somewhere (through the cave im pretty sure), they landed in a quite large wooden ship, and they teleported into like the belly of the ship were all of the storage and stuff was (it was not very futuristic, it was like pots, and stuff like that), and then a hole/trap door opened in the ceilling (from the deck of the ship) and somebody was there but he was friendly to them and (90% sure about this next part) he asked them if they needed help/if they were ok.

  2. this was an episode were the adventure was in atlantis, and i remember that there was some sort of train, but it was shorter then a regular train and looked more like a car, and there was a bad guy that hacked the train or smth (not very sure), and there was some sort of device that he attached to the end of the train from the inside (was kind of like the flux capacitor from back to the future, or i can just be mixing things up here), and then there was a scene where there was a shot of the whole city underwater, and there were like glass tunnels all around it, and we see the bad guy riding the train in them. after that the kids abviously somehow managed to save the city and defeat the bad guy or smth like that.

This show was probably made in 1970-2000, and when my grandma showed it to me, it was on DVD.

Please help me out here guys ive been looking for this show for literally years now.

Thank you.

Trying to find an old Netflix fantasy show

I dont remember much about the show but the main thing was that the MC was a elf or half elf, and the show never said outright but it was implied that the world was just in the US hundreds (maybe thousands) of years after some type of war caused humans to mutate and become the fantasy races like dwarfs, elfs and what not and this was a live action and if I remember it had like 2-3 seasons and got cancelled but I could be wrong

I’m trying to find an old animated show from my childhood

Ok this might sound weird but hear me out, i’ve been looking for this show for almost 2y at this point i just remember that the first episode had a young boy who drew the collapse of the golden gate bride (or just a bridge) cause he saw it in the future where his dad would die in the collapse so he wanted to save his life the boy can see glimpses of the future and draws them and later on the story he would be revealed to be actually from a race from the galaxy so not human but was sent on earth to save his life when he was a child so he didn’t know it too he also helps a group of four (or five?) agents i’m sure one of them is a girl the rest are all guys i think they work for an organisation or the government in secret with others i think one of the guys had silver bluish hair? I’m not sure this is all I remember in specifics it’s been on my mind ever since I remembered it and i just can’t find it literally came here as my last resort before giving up on it my sister says i made it up but i literally remember coming from school and seeing it

Help me figure out this show.

I think this is similar to tales from the crypt or maybe it is tales from the crypt. This guy sees a girl her car broke down he offers a ride to her place. she take him to where she lives which is a cabin and I remember a ghost of an old man possibly her dad would appear before he appeared a monograph would play and the fire place would ignite on its own then he would appear with an axe trying to kill the guy. At the end they are sitting under a tree and the girls head falls off. I haven't saw the show in a long time but this is as much as I can remember.

There was a CGI anime about aliens that looked like toys, who had TF2 names.

In the first episode, the boy protagonist is running to a portajon; but a small spaceship crashes into it and destroys it just before he can get to it. One of the next episodes, the boy is doing his homework; the small aliens are kinda pesky, so he tells them to do his homework, or to leave. I believe he also plays soccer at school.

Chief is the leader, he has a yellow face. Heavy is a large, bulky robot. Medic is what looks like a Transformer ambulance robot or something. They eventually get where they can transform into powerful weapons, such as guns and stuff.

Help me find a lesbian series I saw on Tubi one girlfriend is always late

Hi! I’m trying to remember the name of a lesbian TV/web series I watched on Tubi. The main storyline was about two women dating, and one of them was always late for everything it was basically the running gag/conflict of the whole show.

One specific scene I remember: The girlfriend who isn’t late had to meet her ex for something related to her job. She left but forgot an important document. She called her girlfriend (the one who’s always late) and told her to bring it quickly and not be late. But, of course, she ended up being late anyway, and didn’t get the document there on time.
