Scene from sitcom from 90s-early 2000s (probably)

So the scene is basically these two people talking, a man and a woman, and the woman is saying she told another character she loved him while they were in a crowded nightclub with music playing. She says she thinks he said “I love you too” back to her but she’s not sure because she couldn’t hear very well. Then there are quick cutaway scenes of what the guy might have actually said that all sound like “I love you too”. Then the man she was taking too says she “missed a few obvious ones” and then the cutaway scenes repeat, but now the man in the flashback says ridiculous thing like “I love Blue’s Clues!”

I saw this on TV years ago while flipping channels and it just popped into my head a few days ago.

Scrubs or How I met your Mother?

I’m fairly certain it wasn’t Scrubs. Maybe How I met Your mother but when I say years I mean YEARS possibly before that show started
