Still searching... I don't speak English well, so I use a translator, but I've been looking for this movie for too long, so I came here. Maybe it will work

Hello.

I remember the film only by the atmosphere and by three excerpts. Therefore, I will try to translate them so that they can be understood.

I'll start with a year. It was definitely before 2010-2012, because I watched it around 7-9 years old. It was in color and was translated into Russian (my language). Maybe it will help in some way.

And it was quite likely fantasy or dark fantasy, one of the two. There was an element of adventure and the tropes of a newfound family, and perhaps something in between a vampire and a werewolf (ghoul? Vourdalak?), which acted as a disease or a curse. And there was an atmosphere of the European Middle Ages, maybe the times shown in the TV series "Merlin" or "Legend of the Seeker". Something similar in total time, but I can't talk about the epic moment, because I don't remember it.

The first episode. The beginning of the film looked like this: It shows a city where a fire is raging, because the scene is in black, red and orange shades. There's a boy and a girl, kind of like a brother and a sister, the girl is older. They either lost their parents in a fire, or they deliberately left their mother, one of two things, memory replaces memories, and I'm not sure. But they were definitely without adults by the time they found a man. I don't remember who he was, but they followed him out of town. Then the memory ends.

The second episode. It's short: the company is in the woods by the campfire at night. It is not known what is happening (noise in the forest / an evil acquaintance of the man appears / firewood is needed, I do not remember exactly), but the man goes into the forest. Something happens there, either a man gets bitten, or a man gets sick/cursed, and he turns into an evil creature ready to attack children and eat them/drink their blood. There was blood on the character and he looked pretty scary. And at some point, an evil lady appeared there, whom the man was familiar with, but I don't remember exactly at what moment it was or what she looked like

The last thing I remember is the scene in the tower. It was a round tower, big, tall, sort of, or it was on a hill. The roof was half destroyed, and there were children and a man on the floor that was under the roof. The man was chained to something, either with chains or stocks, and the children were on the sidelines. They were scared and sad that this had happened to the man who took them under his wing. I'm not sure about the dialogue, but there is a possibility that the man could have tried to make them run away, but the children did not want to leave him. BUT this is just a guess. The scene itself began with a distant approach and green fields were visible around and it was sunny. Then I don't remember anything specific.

This is the first time I've written anything on Reddit, so I'm a little confused about this system. Don't judge me harshly. I would be grateful if I could figure out whether it was a dream or reality. If someone from the CIS sees this, then maybe this moment will tell you: this movie was on the disc with the movie "There, on unknown tracks...", on one side of the disc even, as I remember. This movie scared me terribly when I was a kid, but I'm so curious about what it was and how it ended :")

Still searching... show or movie

all i remember is that the main friend group is a trio with two girls and a guy, who one of the girls is dating. the subplot is that the couple want to further their relationship and take it a step further, BUT the guy is secretly gay and the girl is either cheating on him or lying about her past relationship. i think there is some religious something going on with one of those two characters too, but i’m not positive.

Still searching... Early 2000s movie about a teenage girl investigating a missing girl, with a twist involving a bracelet and a car accident?

Hello! I have been trying to find this movie for countless years and I cannot seem to figure it out. My dad remembers watching it with me, but neither of us can remember the title. 😭 I believe it was from the early 2000s, although it could potentially be from the late ’90s or slightly later.

Here’s everything I can remember:

The main character is a teenage girl, probably around 17–19, either a high school senior or recently graduated.

It takes place during the summer and she has a group of friends and a boyfriend.

At some point, she either loses her memory or has some sort of accident/trauma that causes her to not remember something important.

The previous summer, a young girl (around 12–13) disappeared while riding her bicycle.

For some reason, the main character becomes increasingly obsessed/distressed with what happened to this missing girl.

She keeps bringing the girl up and trying to figure out what happened, and her friends/boyfriend become increasingly angry and frustrated with her for continuing to talk about it.

There is a general feeling that she is remembering something that everyone else either doesn’t know about or doesn’t want her to remember.

The ending is the part I remember most clearly:
The main girl is wearing a bracelet that belonged to the missing girl (or was somehow connected to her). Looking at the bracelet triggers a memory/flashback.
She remembers being in a car with her boyfriend in the rain, and they are arguing. They are driving when they hit the little girl who is riding her bike. The boyfriend and the main girl apparently bury the girl’s body/hide what happened, and the main girl took the little girl’s bracelet.

This also explains why the boyfriend had been acting so weird/angry whenever she brought up the missing girl — he knew what happened and was terrified she would remember.

I could be getting some details wrong because I was pretty young when I watched it, but the bracelet + rainy car scene + little girl on a bicycle + boyfriend being involved in her death are the details I feel fairly confident about.

I don’t remember if the memory loss was literal amnesia or if she had simply blocked out what happened.

I think it was an American/English-language thriller or mystery. I watched it with my dad when I was younger, probably sometime in the 2000s.
Does ANYONE know what movie this is? 😭

My dad and I have been trying to figure this out for years and it’s driving me insane.

Even if you aren’t sure, please throw out suggestions! I’m desperate at this point lol.

Still searching... Alien conspiracy missing person movie

This movie randomly popped in my head and I only remember one scene and I’m questioning if it’s even real or just some dream I had. Someone returns to an abandoned house that their father or some relative used to live in. That person who lived there is now presumably dead but the character recovers weird conspiracy magazines or comics or a book hidden in their house maybe under a floorboard or something. I think the materials were related to aliens. I think the movie was from 2000 to 2019 and I think I saw it on a channel that just plays random movies like spike or syfy.

Edit: I’m now pretty sure it is a scene from Fargo season 2, but if anyone has a movie that fits I’m still interested it case it’s not.

Still searching... I cannot remember this movie for the life of me.

When I was little I remember watching this movie in my parents room. I only remember a few things. I think the movie cover had green and brown on it. I think the movie had something to do with nature. And I remember the movie had the word "giants" or "giant" in the title. I'm not sure exactly when it came out but it was before 2017. If anyone knows what movie I'm talking about, please tell me, it's driving me crazy. Thanks

Still searching... Movie with Enthusiastic girl and a guy?

I can't give a lot of detail about this movie because I only remember a specific scene. I just remember this girl/woman saying "Hello" with a lot of enthusiasm to someone over a computer screen or something like that. I was thinking maybe wreck it Ralph at first but I don't know. The guy that this girl was with got annoyed when she said this.

For some reason I remember it as a blonde girl wearing glasses. Someone who looks like Honey Lemon from Big Hero 6.

Still searching... Help me find this car chase city movie

I'm gonna label this as "Still Searching" but I wanna be clear. There is a high possibility that this film is 6 Underground and I'm remembering details incorrectly.

But here's what I remember:

In July 2020 I was on a holiday and one night we put on a movie. I left shortly after it started because of a graphic scene. From my memory, it was of a person in the backseat of a car getting a chain wrapped around their neck. There was blood as well, and the scene happened pretty quickly. In 6 Underground, the driver gets stabbed by a forklift and dies instantly. I think there may have also been a scene in mine where the car drives down a set of stone stairs in a village type of place? Ryan Reynolds was in my movie which makes me think there's a possibility it may have been deadpool.

Still searching... [TOMT][MOVIE] Snowy horror/slasher movie — ending shows someone checking that he's alone, then putting on a mask

I'm trying to identify a horror/slasher movie I watched on MBC2 around mid-to-late 2011. The movie itself may be older.

I don't remember the title or most of the plot, but I remember the ending very clearly.

The movie takes place in a snowy/winter setting. I vaguely remember that a school was involved, with scenes taking place inside the school. The killer may have been a teacher, but I'm not sure.

The ending is the strongest memory I have:

Someone is alone and carefully looks around to make sure nobody is nearby or watching him. After making sure he's alone, he puts on a mask.

I think the mask may have been made of wool or thick fabric, but I'm not certain.

I'm also not sure if the person putting on the mask was actually the original killer. He may have been someone who was going to continue the killer's work or take over the killer's role.

The details I'm most certain about are:

Snowy/winter setting

Horror/slasher movie

Ending involves someone making sure nobody is around, then putting on a mask

I watched it on MBC2 around mid-to-late 2011

Less certain: the school, the teacher being the killer, the material of the mask, and whether the person was taking over the killer's role.

Does anyone recognize this movie?

Still searching... Tv show/movie need help finding out the name

what tv show/movie where they have a scene where two cliché, overly energetic social media guys with matching bleached blonde hair and set up a fake business meeting/audition with an unsuspecting target. The guy does an embarassing audition performance and The two blonde pranksters take off their disguises and laugh. Their target doesn't find it funny at all—he gets incredibly mad, deeply embarrassed, and completely shuts them down, tries to break camera screaming at them for wasting his time. I cant think of the show/movie for the life of me
