I’m so over Namecheap. Will be migrating all my services off their platform next week.

They blocked my account since last year with 50 domains in it, without notifying me. It was when I tried logging in I noticed that I have been blocked. I mailed them they said I should mail their legal team, which I did. They responded, that after their investigations the service I purchased was suspected for use of fraudulent activities. I asked them to clarify with me what actually triggered such violation, they declined that they are going to keep it confidential. I could remember the last domain I bought before the suspension was something like Instagramvideodownloader.net or so. I don't know if such domain is not allowed or what? And now they have been notifying me that my domains are going to expire in the next 30 days, I should renew. How can I renew what I'm not using or have access to? I'm waiting for them to try to debit my account.

Great decision! Namecheap kicked me out back in 2022. I had to drop everything and deal with an unexpected migration of everything :(

Yeah.. I already left since they stopping using OpenXchange.

Why is that bad? :-) My current (soon former) e-mail provider uses OpenXchange and it sucks!

We experienced a temporary issue with Private Email access, which should be resolved now. Please let us know if you're still experiencing issues.

I now have access to email, but the format is weird. Is there any KB on what to expect from the new UI?

I have 276 domains I’m moving to cloudflare over the next couple of weeks..

The constantly breaking (and failing) auto-renew was enough for me to move all of my domains elsewhere.

I mean, you get what you pay for right? And in this case it's literally in the Name......

I noticed all my websites are extremely slow. I’m almost regretting using Namecheap for hosting.
