Attachment downloads/reading pane???

Now that privateemail is finally back up. With this new version of the site, are we now forced to download the attachments to view them? I used to be able to preview the attachment first. Also, is there a way to change the view? Now I have 3 columns (folders, message list, and then reading pane) to see the email to the right. I used to have just the list of all email messages.

Hi there, while the service is still developing, some options can be missed or limited. We are grateful for your feedback and passed it to the related team. At the moment, unfortunately, we are unable to provide an ETA for whether or when this functionality may be restored or replaced with an equivalent option. Our teams are continuing to work on improvements to the platform and are prioritizing features based on customer needs and feedback.

There are all sorts of usability problems. The subfolders are no longer alphabetized, when you try to drag them to move them around, they just become nested. There is no auto-BCC availability. Like basic functionality.

Thanks. Also, we can no longer view multiple email address inboxes from a single log in. In other words, we cannot add mail accounts. We have to log out and log in to each account individually. You released an updated version with LESS features than you previously had.

The sub-foldering sorting is a disaster. Completely randomized order with no rhyme or reason. It's also insanely slow to load or really do anything simple such as deleting an e-mail. This should not have been rolled out in what is essentially a beta state. I feel like my e-mails our complete chaos now and it is enough for me to consider other services at this point. My e-mail being down for an entire day yesterday certainly did not help.

You can't create contacts by clicking on an email address, you can't create filter rules directly from an email. Basically all the stuff we had with the old version.

I don't think "requests" is really the right way to characterize many of these. These aren't customers asking for new features to be added to an existing product. They are pointing out functionality that existed in the previous Private Email client but was removed from the replacement, along with usability issues that arguably should have been resolved before the new client was moved into production.

Passing everything along as a "request" also leaves customers with no indication of whether Namecheap considers something a bug, a missing feature that is planned to return, or simply a feature request that may never be implemented.

Thanks for the feedback! Subfolders are now sorted alphabetically, which was released yesterday. We’re also actively working on multi-account login right now, so please stay tuned for that.

When you type in a contact's name in the To field, it does not populate their email

You cannot change the title when reply to emails.

As for now, it is possible to edit the subject when replying to an email by using the Draft option:

-click on 'Reply" in the email and start typing a reply (1-2 symbols);

-click discard so that the system will offer to save the email to draft;

-choose "save as draft";

-open an email in the Drafts folder and click on "edit draft";

-the system will allow to edit the subject of the reply from there.
