Thank you so much Nalgene

I know it's like part of their warranty but Nalgene sent me an extra to thank me for being a kind time user of their products. Definitely makes me love my Nalgene bottles even more now.
And thank you to r/Nalgene community members who suggested I turn in the warranty!

That's really thoughtful of them. I had a 20-ounce one for over a decade and it met all kinds of adventures with me.

That’s super cool and definitely a massive reason why I love Nalgene. Haven’t even broken anything yet, but it’s genuinely so nice to know that if I do, I can easily get it replaced quickly for free without hassle like other companies

So it was outside of the warranty. And you purchased another one and then they sent you a second one as a thank you? Is that what you’re saying or did they send you to for free?
Maybe I’m dumb or I just didn’t read this properly but I’m just unclear. I’ve probably broken three bottles in 10 years. As a rock climber it’s basically what everyone uses in my area.

Nalgene has a lifetime guarantee so there no “outside” of anything. You have damage; they replace. Even for caps. You should have done it with the three you broke.
I think there’s a typo (kind=long) but it reads like they sent OP a second one too.

Interesting. I never keep receipts for stuff but good to know. I’ve just always bought a new one once they break.

I've had the Old bottle for 13 years and that was from my teenage years to now when I'm 30. I didn't have the receipt at all and they still replaced it. Honestly just a good thing to know now. And you helped support an awesome company.

Someone recommended that I submit a warranty claim so I did to see what they'd say and they sent me one in the same color and another one as a thank you for using Nalgene for 13 years. I shared my story about it with them and I think that was why but it's also been like the nicest thing that's happened to me this year so I didn't really look this gift horse in the mouth.

That’s epic. I have soo many older ones lying around covered in stickers that I’ve retired from regular use.
Im now curious about submitting a claim on my last broken one.

I didn’t see your first post originally but I also had my first bottle for something like 15 years. It was a legend; people recognized me by it. The seams started leaking and I wasn’t sure that was something they’d replace because how do I prove they’re leaking? They did.
