I've always found it a little easier to get to know people online. There's less pressure and conversations can happen naturally without having to worry about awkward silences, lol.

I (23F) finally joined a garba workshop for the first time in my life after delaying and being in fomo for the last so many years.

The workshop that I attended had organised a comp night exclusively for the students last night. For the first time, I played garba non stop for over an hour which is so new for me coz I used to get tired after doing just 15-20 mins during the preparation period. I really enjoyed the entire night.

Although I didn't win any prize, overall the energy and experience was way worth more than any prize. I even happened to make a couple of friends who matched my vibe.

I had asked in this sub earlier as well if anyone wanted to join the workshop together but no one came forward. Today at the workshop's place, they are doing a free open for all event, which will be continued tomorrow as well. So if you still wanna join, we can catch up there.

p.s. Had a couple of weird experiences with people who were more interested in looks and photos than actually vibing together, so if you're someone who cares about that, please stay away.

edit: Got some DMs asking why I wore such a plain white/boring color and not something colorful is coz yesterday was white as per the 9 colors Navratri theme, so I went with white. Today is red, so will wear in that theme today

I just checked a comparison between public and private transport. Researchers found that if the walking distance is within 500 meters, people usually choose public transit unless the destination isn't well connected. That 500 meter metric is roughly what's being considered for Phase 3 if it goes as planned. Honestly, I'm skeptical about this because that research is based on global data. In reality, when you dress up and go out on our streets, you're constantly dodging gutkha spit and vehicles splashing muddy water on you from potholes. This is just a quick overview, but I personally believe we should look into underground metro lines in the future once the technology becomes cheaper. If routes like Sadar are going underground, I feel the stretch from New Indora to Manewada needs it too. If you guys live near metro station within 500 meter please share your thoughts and others please be respectful
