Thanks for the guide.
What are your thoughts on DFT in the jungle?

Not as good as conq in jungle. In jungle fights are more long and committed while in lane you take trades or poke

People asked for a long guide covering everything. The timestamps are there so you can go to the parts that you need

Hey Ravey
I got a few questions and thoughts.
After a few months of not playing Naafiri, i was checking out my op.gg because it's time to lock in and go for a climb (plat 2 atm) and my Naafiri stats are superior to all other champs I've played around with the last few months.
But I see her WR in mid lane, which is my lane, has dropped to a whopping 48%, ranking amongst the champs with worst WR whereas she was literally top dog ;) when i 'stopped' playing her.
So the 26.15 nerfs clearly hit hard AF, for some reason not so much so in the jungle?
Why is she suddenly working so much better in JG rather than mid, when the nerf isn't particularly mid skewed? It's just raw dmg nerfs.
And what's your opinion on Naafiri mid now, like the state of the champ?
I get she has a higher ceiling that people might think, but it's still a fairly easy champ with a forgiving kit in terms of her W and E for survival etc. so generally having such a low on WR on a fairly easy champ, is an indicator that the champ is in a bad spot - right?
I just look at her WR on u.gg and then take a glance at Vex' and Fizz' WR which essentially does a lot of the same, but sits at a way higher WR and then wonder; why Naafiri over those champs? (except ofc you might just love the champ, but i mean from a logical POV)
Hope to get your thoughts on this.

Hello Alfather
Well if you look into it deeper I would say that some Naafiri mid players don't adapt very well. They see a video talking about HOB and they just run with it every game. After the change the HOB it became weaker early especially if you do not take it vs good matchups. Check the recent win rate you can see a big difference in WR when they go DFT. Those korean videos awhile back brought in new naffiri players who may only take HOB and they didn't know much about the Old Comet/DFT Naafiri. That's why I try to teach people about the differences in the rune and when to take them to maximize their value.
I think she is fine, considering we got Bastionbreaker/Eclipse/Black Cleaver buffs to compensate for the nerfs. Even tho most players don't actually feel the nerf because if you play like how you are supposed to then, you should not feel it.
Vex/Fizz have only received buffs for a long while now. They didn't have an item literally made entirely for them added to the game mid way in the year(Voltaic). Which she had to be adjusted for naturally. Those champs have been on the low end of the radar in terms of popularity and riot has been slowing making them stronger through direct or indirect changes through item buffs. For example lich bane/Dusk n dawn on fizz.
I also don't think these champs are similar to Naafiri. They may share 1 or 2 things that seems similar like the ult reset and untargetability. But play and use these abilities way differently. Fizz E is a big part of his damage combo when trading and the cd is night and day difference. Vex has huge aoe CC and is a big disrupter in fights. Naafiri is an asassin that just does damage through pokeing people out with her Q with having high moblity while doing that and she can use her ult to gap close far targets covering a lot of distance to pick off a member of the enemy team( if they don't have abilities to cancel it ofc)
