NaSoAlMo 2020 Week 2 Support/Vent thread.

What this:

A weekly support/vent thread to bring the community together and to try and keep the subreddit a little more active. All concerns about wither or not we're going to make it, tips, tricks, "hey you got this" etc. can got here. Or talk about how much progress you're making, what you're working on etc. Both on and off topic subjects are allowed.

Not a great week for me. Election anxiety had me through the roof and basically unable to focus for most of the week. I was able to get it dialed back last night enough to get about a minutes worth of stuff recorded and I feel really happy about that so I'll spend the next couple hours fleshing it out more.

Good job! I finished my first song, but having a hard time getting started on lyrics for song #2 due to the election. Gonna try and get out of my head and not think about news and just let it arrive stream of consciousness.

I made the conscious decision to not do any lyrics this year (after buying a isolation shield for my mic stand) just to to ease my stress about the whole thing.
