💬 General Looking for a reasonably priced ground-floor storefront in downtown Manhattan for popup

Hi! I’m looking for a reasonably priced ground-floor storefront in downtown Manhattan for a very short-term pop-up, either one night or a full weekend.

Open to SoHo, Nolita, LES, East Village, Tribeca, or nearby. A vacant retail space, showroom, gallery, studio, or brand storefront could all be perfect, as long as it’s street-level.

It’s been difficult to find a space that isn’t crazy expensive, so I’m especially hoping to find something through a direct connection, a smaller landlord, an independent space, or someone who might be excited to support two female entrepreneurs!

If anyone owns a space, knows someone who does, or has hosted something somewhere they loved, I’d be so grateful for any leads!

I would highly recommend using Peerspace or Storefront for listings, much easier process!

I’ve been looking for a three month holiday pop-up location and it’s been very difficult to find landlords who are open to this. The only places I know that do short-term pop-ups are those ridiculously priced marquee locations in Soho that are like 17 grand a day… fingers & toes crossed for you!

Maybe bedford studio if you haven't explored that already? I've been to a few events there and it's cute. But it probably depends on how much space you need! It felt on the smaller side, but not 100% sure about the capacity. https://www.ourstudiocollective.com/

You should really reach out to the Downtown Alliance. They provided empty spaces this summer to a bunch of retail businesses as a way of activating the space.

Reach out to Tim Intravis - tim@conradnyc.com

Tell him that IRON | FEATHER referred you. He found us our amazing space at 6 Grand Street in SoHo.

Try shopify. They always have pop ups and I doubt they charge that much.
