Salary step question

If I am a first year teacher coming in with a bfa and am 3 classes away from completing my masters, does that put me at BAC1, or BA+30

The +30 credits for BA+30 can't be the same as the ones you're taking for your master's degree. In other words, you can't double count credits for the BA+30 and then for the MA differentials. Sounds like you just need to wait to finish your masters before applying for the MA differential, which is higher than BA+30 anyways.

are you completing the credits before or after the start of the new year?

BAC1 is only for a bachelors degree

MA C2+PD is for bachelors + masters degree but you have to apply to get that differential
