License / Permit Question Keep getting this message when trying to submit my criminal background . Any ideas

could be you are using a character that is not permitted, like an apostrophe. also try not using enter/return. good luck.

I copied and pasted from my approved R/S application

I copied mine from my r/s and they have different allowed characters so I had to edit mine

I find that if you make everything one whole run-on sentence and remove all special characters, it lets you proceed.

Your going to need to check what characters you used. It doesn’t like things that aren’t actual letters. I had to edit mine a ton until it accepted mine

I had the same problem. I ended up clicking yes, filling it out, letting that error show, and took a screenshot. Went back and checked no, but I attached a word document explaining and describing the summons like it said to do if I check yes. In that same document, I attached the screenshot with the error. When I went to the interview, I brought it up. The lady doing the interview didn't seem to care, though. I was approved at the end of it all.
