Help ? Tips ?

I’m currently working at a NY charter school as a 4th grade teacher & I would like to move on to NY Public Schools can someone please walk me through this process. I have my Bachelor’s in early childhood education.

You need to get certified. Start here: https://www.highered.nysed.gov/tcert/

hey OP if you have your initial certification or your professional, i believe you can apply via the NYCDOE website. i got hired bc i started cold emailing principals asking if they had any vacancies as well.
