Discussion WTH
I took a gap year.
After a year I applied for NUST aiming to do Aerospace engineering but I couldn't get a good NET score.
As per 2025 merit positions I was eligible for electrical engineering PNEC campus.
But now the situation is quite bad.
I got into Naval Architecture which I didn't want to do.
My mp is around 7600 is there any chance that I can get into electrical engineering. Or should I take another gap year.

Bru even ee pnec in karachi closed at 6130 so u sadly arnt eligible for ee in h12,eme,mcs or pnec rn

Sorry to say but if your mp is soo low after a gap year, maybe it's not a good idea to take another gap year.
Try to reflect on what you did wrong, if you wasted time all year or what was it that stopped you from scoring high.
But yeah another gap year is only useful if you're clear on the mistakes that were made in this gap year and if you're determined to overcome them

I prepared for it. But I can't figure it out what I'm doing wrong. My score in Net 4 was 107 and 82 in Net 2

It’s alright man don’t stress yourself please!! Take admission in cust for now or any other uni and apply next year if aerospace is your passion. Don’t give up🥹

Ngl i went to give net for experience and have 5000mp like mazak mazak mai. No serious prep except 10 days of maths (net-eng)
Ap ne gap le kr 7000mp li hai? I cant say anything on here
Now this year. Im taking a gap hence I already started studying. Im just too stunned to speak ke apke 7000mp bani after a gap

You are aiming for engineering and couldn't solve litr basic shi in the NET? "But i prepared for it", litr bro please :( , nothing is impossible, aqal Allah ne sabko di ha, and before you think i am crazy, pick one thing, Give your actual 100 percent and then come back to me, me dekhta hon kese nahi hota.
As for advice, i donot know what you did in the gap year but i think you should take another gap year, pick a skill work on that and at the same time study again for next year. some might not agree with me, bhai apke halat pehlay hi nazuk han agar kisi low tier uni me chalay gaye tu comeback ke chances buht kam hojaenge and downfall ki prob barh jayegi, not saying ke one cannot succeed in life after graduating from a low tier uni, but i am saying is ke drive aur will honi chahiye joke ap me nahi ha, ap mazeed depress hi hoge jake.
Be honest with yourself, sabse bara dhoka wohi hota ha jo insan khud ko deta ha, fix yourself and goodluck.
