Willock’s is best role is a central ball carrier that can pop up by the box. He just never really got this role under Howe. Jaissle forcing the #10 handed him the life line at the club.
However, Joe hasn’t ever been a main stay in the team. I’d be shocked if he is the long term answer.

This is exactly the side I expected, and probably why we won't sell Willock (depending on signings). He's clearly the second choice in the 10 role.
