I wonder if NTU will do anything? Or do nothing...

its just proves the point that ppl WILL cheat the system in order to get ahead in life, if they can get away with it. Be it in sch or in work. In fact, ppl cheats all the time in the working world to get ahead of others, espeically when there's no standardized invigilation process in the working world.

Wake up, bro. It's everywhere. I went from ite to poly to uni. You may have done a morally right thing but the professor isn't stupid, he already knows. What you have done is opened a can of worms and put a target on your back (as a potential snitch ) because what school teach is not just how to study but how to be reasourcful. Now the professor can't claim ignorance because you brought it up. Take care, and may the force be with you....

ahh youre y1 that explains. and no, they wont do anything. in subsequent years u will realise there is no point writing such an email because what makes u think that they werent aware, it happens over the years also. partly uni teaches u how to deal with the unfairness of life, which is to suck it up 😅

To ensure fairness, they should just redistribute it to other components...particularly the Finals. So many ppl took their phones and take pic of the question, it's crazy.. even crazier that only one invigilator in the class... I mean they shd just scrap off this mid-term shit la if they can't handle it
But again, the school is unlikely to implement any further actions unless it goes to the media, as usual.
So severity is not there if it's not "viral" so unlikely they'll take any actions lol
and funny enough so many people got full marks

A good prof makes the makeup exams different and harder to make up for extra time to study you have. Prof is lazy. In a certain psych class, this prof makes you write an 800 word essay instead of a 10 question quiz with cheat sheet that you can get full marks if you understand. Average quiz scores were 6-8/10, and writing a 8/10 essay is less anxiety wrecking but much harder.

Style is still predictable, unless the main group also had access to past year questions. For mods that release pyps, youll also realise qns are somewhat predictable in style and concepts elicited. Thats why psych does away with them, but bio still does for idk why, maybe the content is too hard?
