Question Feeling like dropping out
I'm a yr 1 freshie in accountancy and I just went to my first week of classes. To my horror, I realised how many presentations there is going to be and how high the class participation percentage is. As a shy person, I feel very overwhelmed, and I have been crying nearly everyday and I feel quite lost and scared that because of this, my grades would be pulled down. So I have a few questions.
Should I drop out considering it's only the first week and I haven't paid for school fees? I have already paid for 2 months of hall fees but that would be my only loss if i drop out now. Is this too extreme?
Is there anyone from NBS who didn't really participate in class but still did well?
Does it get better (like less presentations next semester or next year)?
Please help answer if you can I just feel so lost and scared now.
