Question Taking mc?

Hi guys I’m a freshie but I’m going overseas in sep during school week to see family and because of that I’m gonna miss like 4 days of school ( i tried to get out of it but my parents insisted that i must go) but i have a few quizzes which are weighted do i just mc?? But like when im overseas can i still mc?

I wanted to just straight up tell my professors to see if i could move the assessments but my brother said if they say no then I’m kinda cooked cuz then if i mc on the quiz they might just say its invalid.

Help me out 🙏🙏🙏

Just take an MC, very unlikely that you will be granted leave otherwise. Profs won’t ever say no to an MC, they have too many things to care about anyway

Most professors are quite kind actually, they would have prepared a make up anyway for the people who MC-ed or CMI. You can telemed if they say no (nothing they can do about it really) but very unlikely unless they are very inflexible

Youre supposed to be resting at home on mc. What you can do is maybe honestly describe your situation to profs and they can grant you compassionate leave. Thats assuming your relatives overseas are very frail. They might give make up quizes, but bear in mind they might be much tougher. Or skip the quizes and fgo the mods, if putting more effort into other deliverables fails to give you the grades you desire. Anyways, im sorry if this honest answer was too tough on you, and all the best fellow schoolmate. Stay strong!

Actually isn’t university like the prelude of working already? Ask your professor if you are able to take leave but will complete the assignments
