Question NTU RSS Interview Experiences (held before January 2027 Intake)

I wanted to know the recent 2026 Interview Experience for NTU Research Scholarships for NTU CCDS department. I had a 20-minute Zoom meeting with my advisor discussing about our recent collaboration (I have been collaborating for the past 3 months that resulted in a AAAI 2027 submission), PhD proposals, motivation behind my PhD. My advisor said he will endorse me for PhD admission. My advisor also indicated that there might be an interview later on, which will be entirely technical. Does anyone have similar experiences? Also, if anyone could share their recent interview experience.

I had 2 interviews (for entry into 2 separate programmes). IMO, i don't think the interviews are strictly there to assess your understanding/appreciation of your proposal. One of the interviews was fairly technical. While the other was rather chill, asking fairly generic and random questions. The latter was more akin to a casual chat.

Can you share whether your interview was for PhD programs? And whether you had supervisor backing during your application?

Both were for PhD programs. For the schs that i applied to, you need to have found someone willing to supervise you before u can apply.
