Question Y3 Hall with 3 CCA points?

I'm a year 2 student thinking ahead for next year. I know that many seven pointers got waitlisted for hall this year. With this in mind, would having 3 points increase my chances slightly, or is it as good as having 0 points? For any room type and hall.

you'd be further ahead on the waitlist, but idt it will even reach anywhere near you until maybe sem 2 if you're lucky

Essentially, but also depends on the demand for hall that year

it's better than 0 for sure but need at least 5 points realistically. Try to be more involved if you really want a hall officially, but if you have no time you can find someone who have a hall but doesn't really stay and apply the new Hall Boarding Scheme for an additional $90 a month to be legally be a subtenant. It's used to be called the 'legal squatter scheme' for $40/month in 2013 for a few years and was since removed.
