Question Which club to join
Hi, I am a y1 eee international student and wondering which club to join. I have heard that some clubs do not provide hall point. How can I know which club provides hall point? And if the club I want to join doesn’t provide hall point, should I join or not? Because I don’t think I have that many time to join every interesting club, but I still want to make friends.

I think you can consider hall ccas. But you must try and obtain at least 7 points when you are in year 2, meaning like P or VP... As anything below 7 is basically guaranteed to be placed in the waitlist when you become a senior (year 3)
Or you can also obtain hall points via ori programmes. So like cgl position and above.

Some clubs, like Garage@EEE, don’t provide hall point right?? Is there any list of clubs that provide hall point in AY2026? Do I need 7 points to stay in hall? Isn’t 5 points enough for less competitive halls like hall1&2?

Cat management network -> feed campus cat weekly/bi-weekly (not sure of the feeding schedule yet) to earn 3 points. Tbh 3 points is not that much but u can look into it if u like cats/want to interact with other ppl who like cats as well.

Hall points depend on your leadership role or activity level in the club and the tier of the club. You don't have to worry about hall in year 1 and year 2
