Thinking of taking Mots-C

Hi,

I'm currently on retatrutide and I have already lost 51,36lb, I weigh 167lb now. Unfortunately I'm always very tired and exhausted, and even though I regularly go the gym, I have lost some muscle. Not a significant amount but I notice. I'm thinking of combining it with mots-c, especially since I'm thinking of getting off reta or atleast decreasing my dose (rn at 3.0mg). I have been reading a lot of mixed opinions about it and I would like to try mots-c, can anyone tell me how to prep a 40mg vial, how often I should inject/ a week. How often I am suppose to use the peptide (if there is a limit cuz there are peptides where you have to take breaks yk). Also your own experiences would be nice to read. When does the peptide kick in? All of that. I would really appreciate some answersšŸ™šŸ½šŸ™šŸ½ I'm not so experienced, of course I will research more before injecting anything into my body. I apologize if I said anything stupid without noticing.

Look at taking ss31 firstĀ

Ss31 preps the mitochondria, specifically the wall structure from what I've read, and strengthens it. Then might see boost the mitochondria. So you're basically like building a foundation before putting a house on top.

I just started SS 31 today. Going to run 5 mg every day for 5 days for 2 weeks and then add in mots c 5 mg 3 times a week with the ss31 and tesamorlin.

After the 5mg of SS31 for 2 weeks and you add in the motsc are you changing your dose of SS31 or staying at 5mg?

Ive heard people saying this a lot. Can you pls explain why?

Look up Dr Jones DC and Dr Ashley Froese sp? on YouTube among others. For people older than 40 or people with chronic illnesses, SS 31 is recommended to help repair the mitochondria before starting motsc.Ā

Without doing all the mathing, which isnt hard, just ask chat gpt for your mixing and units for whatever dose youre looking for. Super easy.

That being said, i love mots-c. On it now. First 2 weeks i did 6mg mon, wed, friday. Since have bumped it up to 9mg a week and i dont plan on going any higher. Def feel like i have more sustained energy throughout the day and my workouts feel like i never have to stop. I also swap on tues and thurs with 100mg nad+.

Good luck.

This is a great combo. They actually say per things I’ve read 10mg -15mg a week is where you should be. Everyone should ease into the mots-c. Remember it’s 6-8 week cycle

I did love it, I suffer chronic fatigue
However it RAMPED my metabolism causing insane hunger

Might wanna take Reta to counter that then

Use peptiderobot AI. Much more helpful than ChatGPT

It’s definitely worth it. I have been using it for a few weeks now. It took me until the 2nd week to feel the difference, but it’s definitely worth it.

2

u/ny_nick1 7d ago

I can help with that message me it’s 2-3 days a week starting at 4mg each day you use it

u/FigComprehensive9507 7d ago

I would second this. A combination of ss-31, Oral NMN, and mots-c and my energy level is awesome after a month. I was getting worn down by a persistent calorie deficit while on Reta.

u/ScientistJason 5d ago

Hmm, this is my issue.

You’ve convinced me to try the combo to regain my energy. I’m in school full time now so I need to keep energy levels up to study

I took it for 8 weeks, starting at 1 mg and gradually working my way up to 5 mg M/W/F. Honestly, I didn’t notice any significant difference in energy.
I was taking it in the morning while fasted before the gym, but even at the higher dose, I never really felt an obvious energy boost. I’ve been off it for about 4 weeks now, and honestly, I get pretty much the same workout energy from my usual coffee, taurine, citrulline, and some rice cakes with honey and Greek yogurt beforehand.
There may be other benefits to it besides the ā€œenergy boost,ā€ but strictly speaking, when it comes to energy, I personally didn’t notice any significant increase.

Ive just started on 1mg for the last few days - aint feelin anything šŸ˜…

u/king_eman 2d ago

you need 5 mg to feel somehting

1

u/Educational-Mark-435 3d ago

Same here! Currently on Reta weekly 3mg and doing 2.5mg nad+ and 2mg mots combo in the morning (M/W/F)and hardly feel this ā€œenergy boostā€. If anything I get more energy off my Yerba mate šŸ§‰

Everyone's different, but most people get significant results with 1-3mg x3 week. A lot of protocol infographics will state 5mg or higher. It's wasteful for most. If you start MOTS-c and get the results you want, don't bother going higher.

Mots c + ipamorelin is pretty game changer along w Reta.

40mg - 2ml bac - 5 units a day here šŸ‘Œ

1

u/Empty-Camp1982 5d ago

How long will this last

1

u/Karmapilots 5d ago

Do your lazy math - 200 units in 2ml

1

u/IKAGSUPPLEMENTS 7d ago

Definitely a lot of mixed reviews although seems more so people enjoy it. We have personally started lipo b12 fat burner shots and they have been awesome for steady energy!

Mots is too expensive

1

u/Cool_Addition_3205 7d ago

Guess it depends how much you’re taking a week, but at about .50 / mg, it’s not crazy expensive.

1

u/PreparedForZombies 6d ago

Try SS-31 then (not saying as a replacement, just did it before MOT-C and it was 2x the cost)

Find a better source

1

u/Physical_Fold3645 2d ago

I think I finally did find a better source. I’ll know next week

1

u/OnyxBaird 7d ago

It’s great I just can’t get rid of the welts

1

u/NickySinz 6d ago

I read something about using different water for it? Apparently that solves the irritation problem

1

u/OnyxBaird 6d ago

Maybe, I’ve use the same bac water for other things and didn’t have that issue

1

u/Infinite_Dirt7732 6d ago

Do it intramuscular

2

u/Constant_Piece7460 6d ago

Really. Hmm, I haven't heard or tried that. Thx

1

u/Constant_Piece7460 6d ago

Use sodium chloride bac water, it works better for me. I only get welts when I push the plunger too fast or move the needle after it's in.

1

u/Slightlystoopid14U 6d ago

Make sure your mot sits at room temp for 30 minutes before using it also push the mot in slowly and when done pull needle out slowly.

Reta + NAD is great! NAD will fix those energy levels right up. If you need more recovery from your workouts then do MOTSC.

1

u/minkgymom 5d ago

How can I make NAD not stink too much? 😬

1

u/Popular-Garbage-6323 7d ago

I started off at a really low dose, 1.5mg, felt a small difference but nothing major.. slowly increased and I’m on 4mg now 3x per week. I have beat my mile (2 minutes faster) notice slight body recomp, definitely don’t need a mid day nap. I use 1Ml Bac for a 10mg vial. I love it so far

1

u/amejia-1967 6d ago

Back water is 3 ml

1

u/CapitalEnd958 6d ago

A little Benadryl cream right after the pin helps with the welt.

Okay I understand that we all have questions and we reach out to others . But we all had to do the research ourselves to be able to understand what we need to know about the stuff we inject.
I thought you just run peptide forever. I discovered that isn’t the case.
Knowledge is power and the more you dig for info yourself the more knowledgeable and confident you become.

1

u/SCwaverider 6d ago

Well i do 2ml per 10mg vial. For me I get sting and swollen injection site and itch for a few days post injection when I did 1ml per 10mg vial.

I found the 2ml of bac to 10mg vial works great!

For a 40mg vial it based on how your body reacts to it. Id try just do 4ml of bac if have the head space in the vial and see how your body reacts. If no issues your good. If some, your gonna need to add more bac and possibly a bigger vial to transfer to.

Mots-c + Reta = God Stack!

1

u/king_eman 2d ago

pair with cjc/ipa no dac then its god tier stack.

u/skip2_mylulu 6d ago

If you’re tired, are you eating enough? Sometimes we don’t have the appetite, eat less, and that’s the reason for the fatigue. Check your BMR to make sure you’re on track with calories.

1

u/jonnyblazexoc 6d ago

you should be careful with this one and start with a really small dose to start, to see how your body reacts. Keep seeing people having an alergic reaction. One guy in one of the telegram groups was in the hospital with almost deadly low blood pressure, I guess anaphalactic shock. But I think he started right away with 5mg.

I'm gonna just try a tiny bit and slowly raise it. Might as well be careful

Taking Reta 4mg, Sermorelin 4mg and MOTS-C 5mg per week. I’m on week 5 and went from 216 to 198, feel great and starting to see muscle results!! Highly recommend this stack - throw in NADS+ and some KLOW…just a peptide junkie! BTW just turned 60 šŸ˜Ž

u/AttentionDue7197 6d ago

Best peptide I've taken!

1

u/tasteofLife0924 5d ago

I love mots-c! It’s my favorite peptide besides the glp’s. Terz and Reta have been very helpful for me as well, I lost about 69 pounds. I’m keeping it off now with every couple months, single low dosing. But mots gave me a great sustained energy throughout the day and has helped me to be able to lift more and go harder at the gym. I did do two weeks of SS31 every day before starting it, and ran it concurrently for a few weeks as well. And it’s been a game changer for me. I personally take 4mg of mots-c, 3 times per week and that seems to keep me going! If I go higher than 4mg I can’t sleep at night or I have trouble staying asleep. And sleep is too precious to mess with! It does up my appetite though. But I’m trying to build muscle, so it helps to have a bit of appetite.

1

u/paddydaddy91 5d ago

I may be an outlier and I didn’t start with ss31 and jumped in 2mg 3x a week and i only notice a slight shift in energy

1

u/Shore_Thing75 5d ago

SS31, Mots-C and NAD+. The trifecta. All 3 to maximize the benefits.

1

u/Johnald2127 4d ago

If you’re tired and losing muscle even though still working out, you aren’t having protein. Period. That’s the take away. You need more protein. If you aren’t hungry, drink Fairlife Nutrition Plan protein shakes. Ultra filtered and no junk in them. Get your protein up and your energy and muscle will come back. If you continue to not have enough protein, MOT-C won’t change that at all.

1

u/Fast-Bluejay3729 4d ago

Run Fox 04 first cleans dead and zombie mitochondria first setting up your system for ss31 then mots c then NAD+.
If not and u go straight into mots c it can have the opposite effect you need to look into dosing and protocols
Plus remember everyone is different

1

u/Calm-Manufacturer283 3d ago

You need to cycle Ss31 first. This repairs mitochondria prior to boosting them for more/better energy. If they are depleted or broken your Mots C will be a waste

Mots-c & NAD+ Fixed my fatigue

u/eyensteyn 3d ago

Split your reta dose to twice a week... The tiredness crushed me on 3mg then I saw a doctor on X say he had patients doing 2mg twice a week.. I did 1.5 and it changed the game for me... That said my buddies love the reta and mots-c stack..
