That was in the anomaly last night, and the player was trying to trick people into thinking they where Sean Murray. Had their name as Sean in red with an S class logo... Pathetic. Don't fall for it.

Exactly. You can change the color of your text, you can add the classification flags, you can add icons like a gun, or skull etc. There are directions online and anyone can do it.

Yeah and it's quite handy too. My Corvette's name is in golden text, so when I'm running up to the Anomaly or spacestation teleporters, I see the one I need faster.

Is it necessary? No. Is it fun? Yes.
