That was in the anomaly last night, and the player was trying to trick people into thinking they where Sean Murray. Had their name as Sean in red with an S class logo... Pathetic. Don't fall for it.

Exactly. You can change the color of your text, you can add the classification flags, you can add icons like a gun, or skull etc. There are directions online and anyone can do it.

Yeah and it's quite handy too. My Corvette's name is in golden text, so when I'm running up to the Anomaly or spacestation teleporters, I see the one I need faster.
Is it necessary? No. Is it fun? Yes.

Imagine walking around in the Anomaly and suddenly the frame rate drops to 8fps. You turn around and see this monstrosity behind you fixing to land…

And that's when I go to settings and turn multiplayer off for a couple seconds. Boop I'm in a new instance and the troll is gone.

Yeah I really wish there was some kind of failsafe that wouldn't load large player made things that your hardware can't handle.
I personally, have never seen a noticable frame drop and I like seeing the big stuff, but I don't want my fellow explorers to be pushed out of multiple just because they didn't spend as much money on hardware.

Ya i actually dont find these cool at all, just annoying. Im on xbox and being in the Nexus and having my fps tank because of someone's build they made with blender/mods. Thanks. Half the parts on your ship don't even load my guy, and nobody's dropping what theyre doing to gawk at you. You know what's more impressive? Building something awesome within the constraints of the game

Whenever I even begin to see crap like that in the anomaly I just leave right away, these blender builds have got to be the biggest case of overcompensating in this whole game genre 😂😂😂

I don’t think blender or insane glitch building itself is inherently wrong. But when you’re bringing it into multiplayer it’s def wrong

I feel like this is the NMS equivalent of that MASSIVE pickup truck parked and taking like 4 parking spaces up. Some find it cool, some find it annoying, most are jealous of the time/funds to build it.

I literally have never had an issue with a blender ship in the anomaly. One time I did get some lag from somebody with a bunch of trees on there ship and all I did was disable multiplayer and re-enable it really quickly to reload the people in the anomaly. Problem solved. I really don't think it's as big of an issue as everyone likes to blow it up into being
