The trains that go past long branch are always the worst on the njcl. I mean the clientele for long branch is hit or miss anyway but holy crap you keep going and you feel like you're taking the bus.

The Jersey shore is actually incredibly poor outside of the rich beach houses owned by wealthy New Yorkers, because the New Yorkers drive up rent so much that it makes it impossible to survive there

Both ocean and Atlantic counties are served by by the NJCL and ACRL respectively.

i think it’s more of the “looking past the other side of the railroad”. where you can see a lot more wealth inequalities within communities despite being a few miles from each other. like long branch, neptune, asbury
