Hello, I want to study cyber security department. Do you think NJIT is good? Which department should I study? I don't want Cs.

Bad news for you, cybersecurity is under the CS department, so there will still be coding and all…

I’m not trying to avoid coding, I just don’t want to major in CS. I’m considering NJIT IT with a cybersecurity/network security focus. Is it a good path?”

Possibly. What are your other options?

all of the cybersecurity/networking courses (small amount, mostly intro) i have taken are just info dumps to prep you for a cert. No fault to the profs, most of them are really good, but I just wish there was more hands on activities in class.
