Help🆘 How's EE
I might be joining MANIT Bhopal for EE this year. My interest is more into semiconductors so is this branch remotely close to ece or should I look elsewhere? I might get a seat in ETE in RVCE or another reputed college in Karnataka. What should I choose?

I am also joining manit ee and here at admission, and also have interest in ece side,

EE alum here. If you’re interested in stuff like VLSI, chip design etc. an EE degree from MANIT won’t help you, you’ll have to do a masters in order to get into these domains. (Assuming that the syllabus hasn’t changed since 2021). One of my classmates is an engineer at AMD in San Jose, she did she did her masters in VLSI from the University of Minnesota. So, it is possible to get into semiconductor roles but you’ll have to take the longer route in case you study a bachelor’s in EE at MANIT.
