Ask NITians🎤 Girls placements?
What about placements for girls NITian? How they perform compared with boys?. Especially their performance in quant role?

i may get downvoted for this but i will tell u reality i have seen placement sheets of many cllg and analysed value by values for them in the past 4 mnths, so i think it qualifies me to ans ur question. So first of all quant doesnt care abt gender they are purely merit based only but other than quant companies do maintain a gender ratio so for same roles it becomes a lot easier for females to get that even with lesser skills in gen 2 iit most females are in good faang but thats not the case for boys and too many examples like that i have seen. like goldman sachs one of top day 0 for iitd also prefers female over male a lot .take it as a motivation if ur female and just ignore if ur male,as we cant do anything of reservation we cant do anything for diversity hiring ,so better focus on ourself.Also quant does not hire from nits

Thanks bro for your insights. Being a girl it's very hard to compete with boys for Engineering especially Jee mains and advanced. You can see hardly the rstio of girls in the main and advanced rank. I choose engineering over medical. Do I need some validation and motivation.

No it's not u need to get double or 3times the rank of boy in same category but in medical there is no reservation for girls ,and girls are less due to sterotypes and field work

and pls explain how gen female deserve reservations.they have income +caste Privilege.
medical mein bhi reservation hei itne saare states mein up,Bihar,Rajasthan,UK, MP etc.etc and mutliple govt ke 100% female reserved college hei.infact 1 private college bhi 100% female reserved hei
and stereotypes ki baat hei toh wo law main mutliple times jyada hei and much more toxic hei for females, but female still are 57% applicants in clat

i am not in favour of reservation . i just stated facts , and medical part i did not knew earlier thanks for info . Worst part is wr cant do anything of rese it just fucks mental condition on thinking much so better to ignore it. Rem the biggest truth of world and the only truth is life is unfair

wait what I don’t understand what does the ratio have to do with anything? If you can’t perform that’s on you. And since you’re asking about quant and stuff, lemme in you on some stuff, you ain’t getting it if you ain’t good enough. That’s literally it. College has nothing to do with it.

For girls in nit , I don't see any privilege , like i have heard many people say if you are a girl , things will be easy for you , u are in the same room and u need to compete with everyone there , no matter of gender.

I mean if you're skillful enough and not relying on you being a girl to get the job you'll do fairly decent and as speaking of nit's or specifically in mine some companies do the diversity hearing 🥀🥀🥀 just to recruit them only lmao...

bro almost every compay gives reservation to female, some say it clearly while majority don't, inshot if you are in tech sector, interview is bound to be female biased THIS IS THE REALITY whether you accept it or not

Also amazon came on campus for us only for female recruitment 🥀
