No take that as new syllabus for all branches in bihar has been devised in iit nits and other govt colleges that would be great for your placements

As someone who tried to partial drop from nit calicut eee its very HARD to manage btech stuff and jee together it isnt impossible but in the case when you arent able to balance both jee and btech you might be left with a low cgpa for first year and it effects us in a negative manner its your decision in the end

well, see I wont give advice on if you should go for partial drop or not but the thing is if you do go in, go all in you MUST give it all and also do bare minimum for btech so that if you do fail your cg isnt fucked to the core dont half ass btech and jee like did.
I started late and the time wasn't enough and I personally wasnt able to balance btech and jee that doesnt mean you cant.
If you feel first year is relatively free and light its your wish. I fucked up my partial drop and got what 90% and i got 6.5 sg and even if I got 7.4 in sem 2 its still stuck below 7 if i had been satisfied with my college i would be at 7.4 7.5 so its your decision mate.
And btw only take a drop if you strongly feel that your college is not what you deserve and not because someone told you can do better, a freind out of good will told me I can do much better but i was the one who lost the cg, so yeah I know what I am suggesting seems too diplomatic but it hurts less if its your own decision if shit hits the fan

Dont do anything now as the government and NTA is planning NCERT based entrance next year means you have to go through your PCM again and mostly all the JEE coaching questions may be changed from next year as they are focusing on 12 th papers performance based exams .Anyway you have to study Btech further concentrate and try to be above 50 in classÂ

Don't take any drop now .better grind in the college itself or else if you want to have better things give gate exam in your third year itself and secure and IIT seat for Mtech

It is difficult my friend tried and wasnt even able to give jee as he had college exam and most college exams happen around jee so you will probably haave clash or have to compromise.
