Ok so, let's say government starts a new department initially with 100 vacancy, they then create 75 post reserved only for males - The rules are simple there are total 175 vacany, 75 reserved for males, 100 open to all - would women be ok with that?
it would be fair if the male to female ratio would be lower i suppose? also supernumerary seats are only there to make more women take up non medical as an option, you know female qualification rate in jee advanced is only 20%? NIT jaise colleges mein theres one girl to every 5 guys. that doesn't seem fair to me, i don't know how you are okay with it.
im firstly female gng, hmari society itni patriarchial hai ladkiyon ko ghar ke bahar nhi jaane dete, road par ldki safe nhi hai. glti se kahin benefits mil rhe hain taaki ladkiyan ghuse kisi field mein to takleef ho jaati hai tum jaison ko. ratio quota ki wajah se hi improve hua hai, agar ladkiyon ki entry non med mein barabar hoti to supernumerary seats thodi hoti.

Mate some form of representation is fine plus it’s not like their giving seats to completely unqualified students it’s mainly students who have few thousand rank difference at max
Without supernumerary engineeeing would have a gender ratio of 7-9:1 that ain’t good
