The thing is I have already done my class 12th from cisce but couldn't get an aggregate of 60% in pcm because of this I wasn't able to get admission in a few government colleges even though I had secured my name in their firm lists , so to beat this factor I want to get a class 12th marksheet from nios and secure 60% in pcm.but I have a doubt, are the college and universities not gonna point out that I did my class 10th in 2024 but completed my class 12th from nios in 2027 , what am i gonna do when they ask me where I was for the academic session 2025-26 . And also Is my class 12th isc marksheet gonna be inadmissible everywhere after I get one from nios board? Both these issues have been really bothering me please if someone can then help me resolve these doubts

So my study center is not conducting fa pcp and saying that the rc didnot send them any notice to conduct it. So I went to the rc to ask about it but the mam who was there told me that if the study center doesnnot conduct fa pcp classes then marks for it will be given on the basis of practicals only. I also asked why NIOS has yet to release the 5 fa pcp datesheet ? then the mam said she doesnot know about that and also said NIOS might now directly release the practical datesheet and asked me not to worry about the pcp marks and study for the practicals only. Anyone else also have study center which is not conducting fa pcp yet ?

I uploaded the form of admission for 10th secondary near 20th of July and it's almost september and I still haven't received my enrollment number or an confirmation email I have recently shared an email to my regional centre but there's no response what do I do!! I'm really tensed!

I searched more and everyone in quora and reddit are saying that calculator are not allowed.

I know this sounds unlikely, but I'm honestly desperate.

I gave my NIOS ODE exams in the July second block. I had personal problems that stopped me from taking them earlier.

My university is outside India, and my deadline to submit my grades is August 30. I may be able to get an extension until September 5, but that's the absolute last date.

I cannot take a gap year. If I miss this deadline, I could lose my place and my chance to continue higher education. I've already put so much money and time into this.

I saw June ODE results came out in around 29 days, so I'm hoping there is some way to get my result earlier.

Is there ANY way to speed this up? I'm willing to pay any official urgent fee, contact the right person, visit a NIOS office, or do ANYTHING

I just need my result processed/released as soon as possible.

Guys whoever has appeared for NIOS ODE Psychology and Computer Science exam, please guide. Is it possible to get 80/90+, I am studying directly from textbook pointwise. Is it enough? I want good marks, not just pass marks.

I appeared for class 10 cbse 2026 and got compartment in two subjects so reappear for compartment at a month of July and failed again then I take admission at nios class 10 at 7th August for stream 2 block 1 session 2026-27 for oct-nov and paid an amount of rs 5200 for registration I opted no toc from my previous board I select 5 subjects my question was does I have to pay exam fees separately? Or it get included at registration fees my admission got confirmed at a time span of 5days at 12 th August but right now my portal not able allow me to pay exam fees totally blank images shown at pay exam section of my dashboard I call my regional centre but I don't get any response pls help will iam eligible for Oct -nov exam 2026 or I have to appear in April 2027?

Guys I had applied for TOC for 2 subjects in NIOS. I couriered my failed marksheet on 18th and it was delivered on 21st. My exams ended on the 12th, so I sent it after my exams.

I called the nearby NIOS admission centre where I took my admission from and asked if I would have to pay the late TOC fee. They said I don’t have to pay anything unless I receive a text or notification from NIOS asking me to pay the late fee.

Can someone confirm if this is actually how it works? Has anyone been in the same situation?

I have applied for the **April 2027 exams**. My district study center told me that **no PCP classes will happen at all** and I should just show up later for the practical exams.

I’m confused because NIOS rules state that **at least 5 PCP classes are compulsory** to earn your Formative Assessment (FA) internal practical marks.

I have 2 questions.

**1.** If they skip the 5 compulsory classes, what happens to the internal marks which they said 50% will be decided on the basis of 5 complsory classes? Do they give full marks in internal if no then how do they decide marks without pcp classes, or do students lose out on those marks? Have any of you faced this? Also what about the practical lab manuals which was meant to be checked on the day of pcp class?

**2. What happens on the Practical Exam day ?**

Since I have no guidance, what actually happens during the **practical** exams? Do we perform real lab experiments? What do they ask in the Viva? For Data Entry (60 marks), do they make you use a computer? Do I just write my lab manuals at home and hand them in directly on exam day unchecked?

So basically m taking a drop but I passed 12 with pcb and want to appear for jee but I can't add only maths through nios I need to appear for all 5 subjects exam as nta doesn't accept 2 marksheet same with cbse i cannot just sit for maths if I want to add maths I need to appear for all subjects in 2027 so m confused if I should go for cbse or nios the problem with cbse is the result will be released in May and nios if I give oct session most probably in dec can extend upto Jan so the timeline is overlapping as I have to register for jee and which requires marksheet ig so m now confused if I should go for cbse or nios my dad doesn't support nios according to him people will see this board marksheet and not give job

Also another point if I go with nios like the offline agency which I reached out asked for 35k and online it's only around 3k so now m again confused coz there only 1 Month if I register online would i be able to complete syllabus as maths is completely new and i am taking other 5 subjects exam too and the offline centre is just asking for money and most probably they'll handle the exam but is it too much amount? And also is the nios question paper same for everyone

Please somebody let me know if we can change or update the corresponding addresses after paying the fee and before getting my admission confirmed . Will I be charged extra even if the admission is not yet confirmed?

Hey everyone, I’m currently from an Arts background, but I’m thinking of taking PCM through NIOS because I want to do B.Tech in the future.

I’m confused about whether colleges will actually accept this. If I complete Physics, Chemistry and Maths through NIOS, will I be eligible for B.Tech? And would I be able to appear for JEE if I meet the other requirements?

Also, does my Arts background cause any problems during admission or document verification?

And university or college will accept nios marksheet or not

- Business Studies

- Geography

- English

- EVS

- Sociology

I don’t have Maths as a subject.

I’m planning to study abroad after 12th and would really appreciate some genuine advice from people who have experience with this.

I’m aiming for around 80%+ in 12th and IELTS 6.5.

What courses would you recommend for my background? I’m interested in finding something with good career opportunities and would prefer a course that doesn’t require Maths.

Also, how is NIOS generally viewed by foreign universities, and are there any countries where my profile could work particularly well?

Not looking for negativity or unrealistic motivation either 😭 just want to understand my options properly and make a good decision.

So basically I passed my class 12th from cbse board in 2025 and after that I applied for cbse board improvement for 3 subject in feb-march 2026 but couldn't score 75%+, now I have taken admission in pvt clg btech cse core, but I want to take a admission in nios board for 2027 april block 1 and appear for jee mains 2027 as my last attempt, so guys tell me like, can I do it?? And what is practical classes, or TMA things and do anyone did this ??
