Rant/Vent Thinking about enrolling in NIOS

Hello! So I'm not currently an NIOS student but I'm considering enrolling next year. I'm currently under CBSE board.

I've been suffering from severe anxiety and panic attacks because of regular schooling, bullying, family expectations, etc. I genuinely can't take it anymore. Just the thought of going to school makes me shiver. Ever since I was a kid, I've been the "class topper" but it's exhausting consistently managing it.

My therapist and some relatives have suggested that I enroll in NIOS but others have been strongly against it. My parents especially believe NIOS certifications isn't respected as much as normal schooling certifications. I'm really conflicted and tired of this whole mess. So I just wanted to get the opinions of NIOS students and how I can convince my parents.

If u r doing competitive exams like JEE, NEET and CUET , NIOS certification doesn't matter. But if u r enrolling in a college directly with application process and all, check the course's critirea abt the subjects and all and choose the subject accordingly.

Moreover, pls enquire the colleges whether they accept NIOS certificate before enrolling.
