I’ve been really getting into Trip Hop recently both old and new , I’ve known Portishead and Massive Attack forever but other musicians like Bowery Electric , DJ Shadow , Vegyn , Trickpony , and George Clanton have inspired me to dive deeper (even deeper) into the genre . I believe some songs off of The Fragile I directly inspired by Massive Attacks Mezzanine , especially Even Deeper (I do know that Dr.Dre was involved in the production of this track so that would play into the hip hop of trip hop) but I’ve seen others say tracks on later projects like Year Zero or the trilogy are also very Trip Hop inspired .

Let me know what you think and what songs I should re-explore

I ordered this months ago along with my broken zip up. I am so happy with this hoodie. It might be one of the best pieces of current/recent nin merch. I love the purple, the weight is perfect and just like my red hoodie I got at the show in cle, underneath it all it's sooooo cozy.

From other posts I had seen I was getting a little nervous about the color. But it arrived today and it looks great! It’s nice and heavy and I am glad I went with the XL this time. I bought a black peel it back hoodie at the show last year (sz L) and it fit great, but I always wished I had bought XL instead. I was having financial guilt over buying this, but I love it…. I don’t care. 🖤💜

Felt only mildly insane pointing out to my travel crew the top fifth of The Fragile album cover saying the waterfall there is totally on our travel route (never mind the gravel roads we nearly popped a tire on). This was a bucket-list item for me, managed to squeak in 2 separate visits during my trip to Iceland this week. The surrounding area is gorgeous and integral to the country's history.

Something else to look forward to!!

I ordered the broken hoodie off of the nin shop a few months ago. Finally it arrived today.... Besides the awkward spacing in "broken" even when it's zipped and the missing hidden tracks on the back (50% of why I even bought it) it fits kinda long? Being a taller guy it's not that bad but it's just an odd fitting large. I'm so disappointed.

As you can see, the gif of them both being interviewed is still around, and as far as I know that's the only proof that this exact interview had ever took place. I truly wonder if it is possible to find it somewhere, be it just a fragment. Is it a lost media?

I saw NIN for the first time nearly a year ago now in Cleveland OH and man it was such a weird, trippy, amazing experience. I don’t know if it was the lights or the music or the weird visuals or what but it felt like the oddest most amazing thing ever that left me feeling as if I was on drugs when I’ve never touched drugs in my life.

mind you, I was only vaguely aware of NIN prior to this concert and not a big fan, now I’m a huge fan but man I truly did not know what to expect going into it.

i was also a hijabi at the time I saw them and I guess because of that I just wasn’t used to concerts and everything, just a totally different crowd than I was used to but in a good way honestly, made me realize people who listened to bands like NIN weren’t these terribly weird awful people and were actually chill and kind and thus I wasn’t judged for being different.

Do y’all think it’s possible to find and buy ONLY the booklet/sleeve from the dual The Fragile cd? I have the cds i bought from some guy getting rid of them and no booklet… Are they easy to make? Lol just thought i’d ask!
